It's good to have some basic swiftwater knowledge for those living around it. I do feel more comfortable knowing they know how to find an eddy and get out if they get overwhelmed or swept away. Is your daughter a guide on the Ocooee? I forgot how to spell it, but I know how to say it. Thanks for the support my friend.

I agree with you! It's important he had so many people don't think it's necessary until they need it. The University that my daughter attends has an Adventure Club and they go out to the Gauly River where they first learned swiftwater safety classes, then went on to white water rafting trips. She loves it, but it still scares me a little. Knowing she does it. :)
