Hello everyone. It's too early that I woke up at 4 am today because my baby woke me up. She's my alarm clock. She wakes up during this time in the morning when she begins to fall asleep at 6 pm. She didn't sleep the entire day yesterday because we went to the mall for our grocery shopping. After we paid at the grocery, we went to the bakeshop. Every time we go out, we always buy bread for one-two hundred pesos budget. It is our daily snack and it is a perfect partner of milk and coffee.
My little sister's class is around 12 noon but she prepares three hours before the schedule. She is the most punctual student I've ever known. She is never late to go to school and doesn't have absences. I remember last year when we received her card. She is a higher honor student and there was no absence of her for the entire year. I really admire her because she's not lazy to go to school, because during my time, I didn't like to wake up early and I had many absences. There were many times I was late too, so I ended up cleaning the big yard of our campus. But I was never alone. I was with those other late comers with the SSG officers.
It is our daily routine to ride in the car with my little sister going to her school since my baby loves to ride. My mother also came to her therapy session for an hour for her mild stroke. While we waited for an hour, we went to the mall.
As we went to Gaisano, we came by to the mall's bakeshop to choose bread. My baby was happy to see the different lighting of the bakeshop. My favourites are the cheese bread, star bread, Coco bread and monai. Of all of the bread I mentioned, my most favourite is the Monay and cheese bread because both don't have a lot of sugar. In this mall's bakeshop, there is no cheese bread and Coco bread. Some stores sell the mentioned bread for 7-8 pesos. In this bakeshop, the 5 pesos of bread mentioned costs 8 pesos each.
My baby took up the big toasted bread. It's a crunchy bread because it is oven toasted that is topped by white sugar and margarine. Even if the ingredients are simple, it still tastes good.My baby actually doesn't like to eat, but she took it and said she's hungry. I knew she was just curious.
The bakeshop is also selling sweets like cakes, marble cakes, hazelnut donuts. The sliced maroons are called hollow blocks. It's very sweet but is a perfect fit for coffee. It's good to buy the slices, but only if we could turn back the times when my mother was very healthy. It was her favourite. These days, she is not allowed to eat sweets because the doctor believes that it's the reason why her mild stroke has come back. According to her physical therapist, too much sugar in the body can degenerate nerves. If you wish to regenerate it, stop sweets. When my cousin visited from Manila, he bought lots of ice-cream and Cokes that my mom used to like. Her mild stroke was gone, but later it went back.
I might end up now. How about you?
