Preparing For The Upcoming Birthday Celebration, Day 2

We are very busy yesterday because we already put some decorations to the wall. My Brother brought this cardboard letter and this is very perfect for hanging on the wall. This is a "Happy Birthday" letters and it can be more attractive when it will put this in the white curtains. First, we checked each letters to see if it is complete and as we found out that the letter is complete, so we decided to start putting in the white curtain. It can make the letters highlighted and we planned to buy a number balloon and hang also here in the wall.

My Mother was replacing the curtains in the windows also. All things new and organized. As I observed, There is one thing missing, the cutted foil. I give my suggestions about the foil and my Mother agreed, today she will buy foil and put here in the curtain, this can be make really attractive. We carefully placed the letters one-by-one in a perfect angle and gladly we did it. I really have a an enjoyable time helping my Mother to put a decorations. 2 days left before the celebration started.

We already shined the floor. Our floor is made of hard tree called Salangkugi. First, we put red dye wax to make the floor color red, we scrubbed it many time until the floor was completely shine. Many people and visitors are very amazed and love to lay down here because it is very comfortable and cool. This is also one of my obligations every morning, to scrub the floor. Last year, our floor is made of bamboo but when many days will pass it will slowly broke out. So my Father used woods instead bamboos again.

My Brother was also busy gathering more firewoods, we will use this foe cooking the foods we serve to the guests and visitors. We don't use stove instead we used firewoods. This is already our tradition when we cook our food and it all started from our ancestors until today. He carefully place the dry firewood in the safe place and covered with Anahaw leaves and an old tarpaulin so that it wont wet. Sometimes, we sell firewoods in the Super market during sunday. Many people wants to buy firewood because as for them, it will lessen their budgets. Stove and gas tank is very expensive now-a-days.

Our yard is also very clean. We always sweep our place everyday even if there is no occasions. It is very important that the surroundings are very clean, it can make our place very attractive and can avoid from different kinds of dangerous animals just like snakes. This is my Kuya's obligation, to sweep our yard. We put broke tile on the ground and ornamental plants everywhere.

The number balloon is also ready to put on but we preferred to put this on the day of celebration.

The balloons we ordered was also arrived and we will put this on the day of celebration also. We ordered green and white balloons because the birthday theme is Tinker Bell. We planned to put this in the curtains, walls, tarpaulin and doors.

The Lechon tray is also set. The design of this thing is very unique and expensive. It is made of hard wood also and I think it is made of mahogany tree. This is where the Lechon will place to make it very attractive. We happy that our neighbor offered this lechon tray to us.
