The Day When I Visited The Wonderful Coastal Areas In Barangay Calangahan, Lugait Misamis Oriental

Hello everyone, it's been a long time since I didn't create any post here in Aseanhive community due to a busy situations, as a students there are lots of responsibilities and school tasks that will going to make or to perform and finally I came back here and share some interesting views and articles here in our Community. But before that, I really thankful to my Brother @godslove123 for assisting me here. Today, I will take you to the beautiful place somewhere in Lugait, Misamis Oriental. This coastal areas is near at my Uncle's place and there are lots of memorable and wonderful happenings here during my childhood days.

I've been here many times already, and it really missed this place specially during our family bondings backed when I was 10 Years old. This place locates at Barangay Calangahan, the part of Lugait Misamis Oriental Mindanao Philippines. This is one of the best place to explore specially during summer season.

I was really amazed of the place not only for the great and wonderful views, but also for some agricultural and valuable plants located at the areas. Some of this are the coconut trees found in the plain place at the shore. It already grows very tall and produced lots of coconut fruits. I remembered once when me and my relatives decided to go for a swim at the sea, my Cousin was climbing up one of thi tree to get some coconuts for our snacks. That was really a part and enjoyable time as a childhood experiences. Those tree was leaning towards to the sea because of the strong winds always happened here specially when there is a bad weather or strong typhoons. As I observed, there are almost 300 coconut plants grows and planted here and all of it are produced lots of coconut fruits.

Not only coconuts but also few banana plants can also found here. Those leaves were teared into smaller pieces because of the strong winds happens in the place. There are only few of the plants produced banana fruits and not yet ready to harvest. It also locates near at the shore and even if it covers with wild grass, still those plants grows very healthy.

The Part of The Shore:

Every low tide, there are lots of people want to be here at the place searching for any exotic and edible sea shells hid in the big coral stones. The coast contains lots of coral stones and some of it are inhabited with many different kinds of Marine animals like crabs, sea shells and even shrimps. Lots of rock pools came showed up every low tide and fish will expectedly trapped, easy to catch. I am very enjoyed experiencing the peaceful and relaxing place at the coast, inhaling the freshness of the air can keep myself relaxing.

Lots of big corals and some sea shells can be seen. Every high tide this big stones will submerged to sea water. Walking here at the place with bare feet is not good because of those sharp coral stones found and the coastal areas. But despite of that, those stones are very attractive and it really brings attractiveness because of its designs, forms, shapes and colors.

We called this two sea shells, Sihi. It contains a dark spots and yellow colors of its shells. It hid everyday and hunt for food every night.

At the middle of my travel adventure, I also noticed this kinds of marine plants. The first one is the Mangrove plants that can lived and grows in sea water. On the other hand, this fascinating green sea weeds grows at the top of the stone. Some of the coral stones are already covered with sea weeds and expectedly to have lots of fish hidden everytime when the high tide occurs. Lots of colors, leaves designs of sea weeds can be seen and found here and it really gives a good contributions to the Environment specially for Marine Animals.

Others say including My Grandma that some parts of the place contains a great historical stories just like this portion of the coastal areas. According to my Grandma, this was once an old bay walk place and as many years has past, the climate really changes resulting for the sea water rises up and already submerged the bay walk. Now, only this black portion of the place that served as a concrete road that time left. This place holds a great stories and truly it is really perfect to dropped or visiting by.
