You live in a whole different world of security concerns buddy. There are a wide variety of security that I have seen thus far including electrified fences. I think a bolt cutters would make equally fast work of the razor wire too. I think the owners realize nothing can keep dedicated criminals out but they just try to do more than the neighbors so the thieves will look and move on thinking it is too much hassle for potentially no reward.
It's kind of like a zombie apocalypse scenario or getting away from a bear: I don't have to be faster than everyone, I just have to be faster than the guy next to me. If that makes sense
Lol. This is true and my thinking exactly. Have better security than your neighbors is a must do and it does work. Our neighbors in our last property were robbed a total of 13 times with us not having 1. They tried, but they knew I was always alert and aware and they were right. We had razor wire pits and other traps besides the electric fencing and two big dogs. I was actually disappointed none of the traps were triggered.
You have strange laws in your country. Had someone become a victim of one of your traps would they stand any chance of suing you for damages? I'm not at all suggesting that I think they should be able to, I'm just curious about the legal system there.
If you shoot someone inside your property/house you are sweet. I think you maybe breaking the law by setting traps ad is kind of a grey area lol. I just think you just do what is necessary and resolve things as they happen even if it means bending the law slightly. My motto has always been to have a big enough garden for a reason as who is going to know?
