My GrandMa's Simple Birthday Celebration

It was a special and wonderful happens when we decided to visit our GrandMa to surprised her for her birthday. She was no idea about our simple surprised and the only thing she knows is it is her birthday but no food or any banquets will happen due to crisis situations, not knowing that my Aunt was already planned about our Grandmother's special day. My Grandparents are very happy everytime when their Grandchildren, Sons and Daughters will visited them, I think it is because they really miss us so much. We felt very happy also everytime we sees our Grandparents happiness.

My GrandParents:

This is Nanay Yolly and Tatay Rody, My tatay was already a farmer for almost 65 years already and since when He was 16, He already know how to work in the farm even if they still lived in Visayas Region particularly in Samar before they went here in Mindanao. Tatay ownes 300 manggoe trees near at their house and He also make a Garden full of crops and valuable plants and vegetables. Exactly 8 AM when we arrived at my Grandparents house and they are very surprised especially my Nanay. My Nanay said us that they don't have any food to serve us but my Aunt said not to worry because we brought foods for all of us. We seen the happiness and tears of joy to my GrandParents.

My GrandParents Dance and Singing Presentation Number:

Nanay and Tatay knows how to dance cha-cha and any folk dances. They learned this when they are still in their homeland in Samar Region. They waves their hands smoothly and the feets will moving also. I really amazed them soo much about their talents of dancing because I admit that I don't really know how to dance. We are very enjoyed watching our Grandparents dance presentation number for us and the only thing we do is to clap our hands.

Not only for dancing , but also for singing. Nanay have beautiful voice and she also teach me how to sing back when I was a little boy. Everytime when they sleep overnight in our house, Nanay requested my Parents to be with her in their home and as we arrived she played her favorite Pinoy song and she let me sing it. Nanay Yolly have a high pitch voice and she can sing and reach even in high tune of the song, We really amazed of her. She also knows how to sing in second voice, this is not easy it must be blended and followed the tune in right path of the music.

This are some of my cousins and they also happy and glad to have a picture together with our Nanay. Some of my cousins and Aunts were very busy talking and playing with each other. Since they lived in a City, no mountains and no lots of trees that is why they also explored the place to see the beautiful places at my Grandparents residential areas.

Blowing The Birthday Candle:

A moment later my cousin who brought the cakes has finally arrived and as for that we started to put the foods in the table together with cake we brought in the popular bakery here in the Municipality. We brought two cakes so that everyone can be able to eat lots of cakes. My Nanay was very thankful about our surprise to her and we also thankful for her and also for tatay for loving us so much.

Before we eat, we do a Prayer for the food and also for the birthday celebrant and my Aunt was leading the Prayer. We keep silence while listening the Prayers. This will help so that it can blesses our foods, ourselves and to my Grandparents. After that, we started to get some foods and put in our plates and we are very happy eating together with my Grandparents and Relatives.

Time To Go Home:

After of soo much fun together with my GrandParents, it was exactly 4 PM and we decided to to go home. My Grandparents are very thankful for us to visited them and give them a surprised for my Nanay's Birthday celebration. During our travel going home we crossed this steel bridge located in Sitio Makawa, this is very important to all residents here so that they still pass even if there is a big flood occur.

We are very enjoyed and having so much fun spending with my Grandparents and that was also our special day.
