A Day in My Life Blog: The City of Iligan Held a "Pasalamat (Thanksgiving) Festival! 🙏😊😇

Another month had been started and I thank God for I started the month of October with a great event that I have attended with some of my family in Christ.

This is my first event this month and I hope and pray that more events will be coming soon as it is also what I really love to do together with my friends and family in the Lord.

As I always do here in the community, I will never forget to thank everyone most especially the admins and all curators who still here supporting me and above all to God for strengthening me everyday.

Just this last Sunday, I was informed by my cousin who is also my Senior Pastor that the City of Iligan will be having it's Pasalamat Festival or should we say Thanksgiving Festival. It is an interfaith gathering just to give thanks and glory to God alone.

Together with the two of our Church young people, we have joined the said event. Around 3:00 in the afternoon we traveled using my motorcycle, in which the event was already started.

After a while, finally we have arrived at the City of Iligan and went immediately to the venue of the event which is at the Iligan City Plaza. As we were finally in the venue, some Churches had already do some presentation for the Lord, and some prayers from the Pastors.

It was just started as my cousin told me, and it was around 4:00 in the afternoon. We just very thankful to God for we arrived in the venue safe and sound and we are just on time.

We were all very blessed for all that we have done here as it is also a moment which we can meet and know other brethern from other Churches at this same time it also a time for this two young people with me to be exposed and experience an event like this.

As we were in the event, I also took some pictures with the young people who's with me and even to my Senior Pastor and his family. It was truly and amazing and exciting event for all of us.

The event was full of prayers and songs of praises and worship to the Lord as this is what we usually do in every time we have gatherings like this.

My cousin who is also one of the leader Pastor in Iligan City, also have an important part in the event. He is assigned to pray for all the young people all over the City of Iligan, as will as to the whole Country. This prayer is truly have a big impact knowing that the young people are the hope of our future to come.

By around 5:30 in the afternoon, we didn't expected that a strong rain came but this never stops the event. This also brings a motivation for us to be more dedicated in the Lord. We continued the event with full of songs to exhalt and glory the Lord.

Even though the event was not yet finished, by around 7:00 in the evening we have decided to go home as the rain never stops. We just thank God for we went home safe and sound even though we are very wet.
