I can't teach you how to become BIG. The idea is, get as big as you're comfortable to be. You may participate in @hivebuzz routine activity such as hive power up day. Every 1st day of the time, you can power up any amount above 10 hive. Do that consistently and you'll be recognized.
Alternatively, you may also try to challenge yourself by, set your payout as 100% power up. That way, all your post payout will be automatically power up. Do it on a daily basis for one month, you will get recognized and earn you a 3 weeks delegation as well.
Or, if you're cost conscious, then you change some of your HBD to Hive, and then power up a minimum of 1HP everyday for a month, you will still get recognized.
There is no single way or a number to make you "big". Make yourself a realistic target and work towards it. 150hp by the end of this year? Who knows, you get a big curation and earn you an instant 100HP with 1 single post? Set your goals high, but not as high as impossible to reach. If you reach the destination earlier than expected, adjust your goal again based on the available time frame. Reward yourself accordingly.
