Who wouldn't be, right? Considering the unending academic requirements to submit along with family problems, financial instability, peer pressure and more other reasons by which students faces most of the time.

Not every student can afford to pamper themselves through shopping or dining out when burnout tends to kick in, uncontrollably. Especially when an individual is financially tight ~ thw money will always be allocated to such priorities like daily allowances and for food consumption.

Therefore, a free event organized by the school or university is a big way to help each student to relax, sort things out, regain energy, and refill their inspirations.

Central Luzon State University is one of the most prestigious university in the Philippines located at Southeast Asia. Offering numerous degree courses embodying a meaningful mission and vision. A university that had been shaped and continuously shaping up over a hundred thousands of students acquiring both sharp knowledge, well-trained skills and genuine character. ⁠♡♡

To honor the previous semesters filled with struggles, the university had established a week full of enjoyable and worth it events aiming to gather students (old and newbies) and collect fun-filled memories before setting up a fire for another tough semester. Presenting ...

" ... CLSU SIKAD 2023 (Sinag ng Kalinangan, Agapay at Dalubhasaan)!" ⁠♡♡

On the Day 1 of SIKAD (Monday_January 30), every students from all the levels and courses are invited to join the Loyalty Walk from 11:00AM onwards. Followed by the Opening Program, CAO Presentation led by CLSU Maestro Singers, Jam with the Live Bands, and Career Pathing Seminar.

And, here we are. The Unit II: "Mighty Aggies of College of Agriculture!" 🌾

Following the Unit I: College of Education, we, the Aggies are set in a long queue as we wait for turn to start stepping our feet for the Loyalty Walk.

The assembly begun before 10:00AM and start at exactly 11:00AM. The wait had took so long and the scorching and humid weather had made every students sweaty & undeniably tired. Also, everyone must be patient as we comfort ourselves from hunger and dehydration.

However, it will not chance the fact that we enjoyed and had fun. Plus, the free foods given to the students serving as an additional means to save snacks for the upcoming days.

The Loyalty Walk had been a great way to ease up the stress brought by pursuing my college degree (Bachelor of Science in Agriculture). More so, to embrace the fun and happy vibes.

Thus, after this event, I need to immediately dive back to my pending and upcoming errands. As soon as the Loyalty Walk ends, I and my friend took our exit to go to the Office of Admissions to process such documents.

I had patiently waited for my turn and around 12:50PM, I got to talk to the Officer-In-Charge at the front desk. But at the end, I failed to acquire the document that I badly needed for my scholarship renewal. It's indeed a "better luck next time."

Next stop? At the Plant Pests Disease Clinic, Surveillance and Research Center of CLSU - College of Agriculture ...

The meeting had begun at 2:10PM and was dismissed at 5:05PM. That 3-hours of meetings and thesis consultation had been really exhausting ~ the fact that my study about seed-borne fungal pathogens were being eyed for online publication, it's quite pressuring. But, will certainly get this through.

When the public utility vehicle that I am riding at had reached the main gate and second gate of our university, massive count of students are waiting for a PUV to pass by.

Meaning to say, the Day 1 of CLSU SIKAD had successfully ended with an achievement to draw smiles at the faces of the students. ✨

CLOSING THOUGHTS

College life isn't all about getting into college. More specifically, it primarily revolves on how to surpass every challenges in order to successfully claim the most awaited diploma.

Leisure time isn't for everyone and can not be taken whenever an individual wanted to. But we must always make sure to balance out the time to relax and be stressed. A free event like SIKAD must be highly appreciated and enjoyed.
