Hello Everyone☺☺☺

Last week I've made a very popular snack of a Filipino. It's made of "Banana". Since we have a banana and it's already ripe I need to cooked a snack out of it.

My father told me to simply fry for it. But I don't want to. Since I have a flour and a sugar, I will make one of my favorite snack that my mother used to cooked before. We called it "Nilipyad". I don't know what you called it but here in the Philippines that's how we called it.

INGREDIENTS:

  • banana
  • oil
  • sugar
  • all purpose flour
  • water

5.Cooked it until it turns to golden brown. Then removed it from the pan and put it in a strainer to removed the excess oil.

That's it everyone, were done. It's so crispy and yummy. The taste is so sweet. The natural sweet of the banana fruit itself and added by the sugar sweet is so perfect. It can really make your tummy so full.😘😊😊

That's all for now everyone. Keep safe always. God Bless and Thank you for your unending support to my blog always☺☺😘

truly yours,

My mother also used to make this! It's very tasty! I love bananas as they are very good, and they are also very nutritious. I hope she makes this again because I really miss it. Have a great week ahead!

Fried banana is a favourite snack here in Thailand too!

We have a variation where we dipped the fried banana into 'sambal kicap'. It look like as below

'Sambal kicap' is a spicy sweet soy sauce dip and is a favourite condiment for dishes in Indonesia and Malaysia: https://www.nyonyacooking.com/recipes/sambal-kicap~pMB6QxuwG
