after @iamjadeline mentioned it was more than enough to settle all Mdm Sharon's outstanding debts and settlements.If you have followed our normal newsletter @gtpjfoodbank before you would have remembered that we had a massive donation collection for the late Mdm Sharon @fitinfun and we managed to have quite a bit of great response from the HIVE Community both donating their old STEEM and some HIVE to our account, where we had an overflow surplus of USD100 worth of crypto that was set aside

We never updated you what happened to the balance, but we are happy to informa you that it is still safe with us, set aside in USDT when we decided to withdraw everything out to an exchange, waiting for an opportunity to use it for good purpose, just like what Mdm Sharon would have wanted.

Soon when we met up with @pwdfarmability and Uncle Philip (@philiprenelee) were blessed to receive a donation H.O.P.E Box under the "Patients in Need Eat Healthier" initiative during uncle Philip's Prostate Cancer Treatment and Removal process, we had the idea to use a part of the set aside USDT to help a similar case.

And if you have seen one of our previous post Freshly Harvested Salad from PWD Smart Farmability mentioning about @pwdfarmability's initiative to help disabled families, we mentioned that we will work with them to adopt and use what was donated to truly help people in need.

We finally managed to get one H.O.P.E Box Out!

Thanks to @littlenewthing's help teaching us to set aside the STEEM and HIVE collected to USDT before the price started crashing, we were able to withdraw the first $38 USD worth of crypto including transfer fee and sold off to a USDT buyer on the localised exchange Remitano to acquire MYR for the first box

Chopped and signed by the co-founder of @pwdfarmability, Samantha @sam.hsuu , the process of getting a full grown Brazilian Spinach ready for the disabled person in our list has started.

We didn't know that farming required time and they were behind time due to overwhelming process, so after a few months of patient waiting, we got a call from @pwdfarmability that the H.O.P.E Box was ready for collection.

Immediately we got our volunteers to go pick up the H.O.P.E Box along with other recipients blessed by other donors for our disabled recipient.

And finally, our disabled recipient who has an elderly mother to take care of and was jobless (from collecting metal scraps to sell) due to the lockdown during the COVID-19 epidemic got his full grown Brazilian Spinach box, that can last them for at least 1 month and can carry on up till 6 months as long as he and his elderly mother follows the instructions how to keep the box alive.

All because of the HIVE Community's love offering for the late Mdm Sharon to help her one last time, her dream (also) to help others in need is now starting to come to a reality.

We now have the balance set aside in Nexo.io generating 1.2 cents a day; ready for withdrawal to help when needed.

We would once again like to thank the loving community here who set aside what they earned to help.

And when we have a new H.O.P.E box specially made for one of our recipients using the HIVE collection, we will update you here again.
