I am one of the statistics. The hole in the middle can still be "pull back" by having longer hair from the front. With proper hair styling mousse, can still have that clean sleek look. Been there, done that.
The worst part is, even the front started receding. As the front hair used to grow longer so I could pull it back to cover the center hole at the back, the front began thinning very quickly and soon I found myself having a way broader forehead than ever in my life.
i don't think that this is a battle that can really be won with hair care products. There are people I know that have very thin hair and they try to cover it up with mousse or gel or something along those lines. No offense intended towards you of course but most of these people just end up looking kind of silly.
