Goal setting seems to be one of the easiest topic to go. Every beginning of the year, we will be able to see many people declaring their new goal and brag about their achievements, but seriously when you think back, how much have your achieve over the past 12 months?

Now that I'm looking back, I didn't set any goal for 2025 because I knew I'm gonna fail most of not all of those goals, but I did achieve a lot 😂 basically, I already have a few things in my mind, which I wanted to work with, for some reasons those goals has been procrastinated over and over again, months after months, years after years.
My first thing I should be proud of, is my personal best for my pull ups. I can do 1 full session of 5 reps pull up for 8 sets. 40 pull up is NOT what I would have imagined I can do in my life time. I can do only 3 chin ups when I was in my high school time. At one point, I did thought of setting a 50 marks as a goal, and then the incident. I was doing my usual sets when rain came, I decided to finish my pull ups in the rain, thinking it would be so cool to have wet t shirt doing workout in the rain, and my right palm slipped. Had I let go, and go with the fall, I'm probably hurt a little bit of ego but that's all. Instead, I hanged on with my left arm and twisted my left rotator cuff.
A lengthy physiotherapy and chiropractic appointment, I believe I'm finally fixed and well. However, I lost almost all of my gains. I still have some endurance with the pull up motions, but I couldn't pass 3 reps no matter what. My physiotherapist suggest me to use gym elastic band to help. Train from the beginning. There's no way after a 6 months rest I can continue to progress from my personal best. So yeah, my second achievement is a pull up rack at home. I wanted a pull up rack for the longest time in my life, I didn't buy it mainly due to who else going to look at me doing pull ups 😂 now, with my previously injured left arm, I can safely assume I'm gonna get a lot of questions going to the park and do my 3 reps Infront of everyone.

My 3rd and 4th achievements? Is buying my 1st new car in my life... And then 2nd new car in my life 😂 I wanted a new car for a long time, especially in 2023 when I couldn't stand working in a toxic environment. I was planning to get a loan, buy a new car for e-hailing service. At least it I don't get employment, I can still self employed. However, later I got a new job, and I'm too busy to think about if I still need a new car. Following year, I got another new"er" job, once again I don't feel like committing to another financial burden. Until recently, my Suzuki died on me too damn many times. It's like it breakdown once every 2 weeks, sometimes twice a week. So I crashed into the dealer, asked for 1 car...and then decided to might as well buy another 1 more car 😂 it's not something fancy, it's just a very affordable local made economy car, but I'm proud to be that idiot who still buys a stick shift car in 2025 😂 I asked the sales person if he's sure that car was mine, he said 100% sure because that month the entire country sold 2000 of my model, I am the one and only stick shift. The factory will have to open their production line just to assemble 1 and only stick shift for me 😂
Ok enough of all that, back to my investments. I have achieved my 50k hive power in 2025. Adding new and fresh 10k HP every year seems like norm to me already. A couple of years back, when I can still afford, I can buy my way in. I have some posts where I find back all my previous transactions, sending funds from @bittrex so I can have a lightning speed growth.
2025 was a struggle. All these power ups are from my posts payouts. Majority of my hive power has been delegated to ASEAN Hive community, so I do not expect any kick backs nor return. For whatever I won from the raffles, it will be extras and minimum.
2026, should I still set a 60k mark for myself? Or should I just NOT set a goal for it?
Back when I was a teenager I used to write my goals in a piece of paper 📜 and at the end of the year, checking it, mostly lead me to disappointments 😁and now that I got married hehe I'd stopped thinking of my goals..I just say to myself let it be,let it be,let it be😁😂
Couldn't agree more
Buying two new cars are big achievement within a year. Where is my new car? Someone said 10 years later😀
可以話系笨,增加負擔;亦可以用“夠膽”兩個字黎形容。
至於你,你自己有退休金,若果你要買,洗乜等10年。
