Terrible that it is someone you trust that betrays you. I think many nationalities get treated the same way as look at the Nigerian scammers have tainted the entire nation for decades. Same as Zimbabweans as from my own experience 99% are crooked.

The Nigerians here in Thailand are labeled as scammers and problematic drug-dealers by default. I would say that this label is unfair and undeserved but dude, it's just so often the case.
Yes it is more often than not true and more the exception than the rule lol.
