Waking Up to Run: A Morning Habit Worth Keeping

in ASEAN HIVE COMMUNITY2 days ago

Recently, I have been trying to keep up with my running by waking up early to run. I wake up around 4:30 in the morning, do some arm workouts, and then go for a quick run. But for today, I wanted to challenge myself more.

I prepared for a morning run, and it was still dark when I got out of the house. I hit the road where I usually run. I did not get to take pictures when I started running, but midway through, I began to appreciate my surroundings.

The sun was already up, and I could finally see a fantastic view of the road I was running on, which made the moment even more perfect. Since I live in a province, I can see the mountains, and the sun risesamazingly from my view. The rice field was also a great scene for me as I breathed in and out. I stopped for a while and took a quick photo with the mountains as my background. Despite feeling tired, I still flashed a smile.

I kept running, and when I saw that I had already run 5 kilometers, I felt so happy. But I kept running because my goal is to run 7-8 kilometers. The sun has been saying hello to me, and the rays are hitting my eyes as well. I put on my shades so I could see better, since my face was also covered in sweat.

It felt really great when I reached 7 kilometers. This was my goal, as I look forward to running at least 10 kilometers per day soon. I need to do it slowly but surely.

Here are my photos to show how much I enjoy running, especially in the morning when the sun is about to rise.
