Good good evening everyone,to My Hive fam! First of all, I want to introduce myself again. I'm Jeneveve Baylon, 23 years old, and I have a 4-year-old child. I'm from Sara, Iloilo. I joined this group because of my Mama, @olivia08. She helped me join this group. I started bee-ing in April 2023. I couldn't fully utilize this opportunity because we didn't have internet access at first. We had a Piso wifi but they took it away because their business wasn't doing well. So, I had to stop bee-ing because it was hard without a signal.
This is our small house. We moved here when I was 8 months pregnant with my baby. This house used to be where my Dad kept his animals like chickens and ducks. My husband and I cleaned it up and we've been living here ever since. It was really hard but we persevered for our child. We even went without food for a day just to buy milk and diapers for our baby.
My husband didn't have a job at the time, so he was really working hard for us and our child. After a year, my husband found a job in Iloilo. It's really far from us and our child, but I had no choice but to let him go. It takes him 3 to 4 hours to travel to Iloilo every week. He comes home every week. It's really expensive, just the fare alone is 200+ pesos from here to Iloilo.
Thank you, Lord, because my husband's job became permanent.
Because of our small house, we wanted to fix it up even if it's just a little bit at a time. But there are really greedy and heartless people who stopped us from finishing our house. They said we can't finish it. I cried and cried because it was such a waste. 😭😭😭 So, we're still living in this small house. Sometimes, our heads bump the roof because it's so low. 😁😁 But I won't lose hope. I'm still hoping we can finish this house.
