     In Indonesia there is something known as MYSTERY DINING, a trend popular with the youth. It's really more of a challenge than anything else, because the goal is to eat someone else's meal while they are in the bathroom and be gone before they return.

     This ASEAN Hiver diner left her table for only a minute or two to wash her hands before dining, but upon her return was greeted with an empty plate. There were no cameras at the establishment, which led to a dispute over the responsibility of the food costs.

     There is a MOVIE TICKET SCAM circulating around Southeast Asia in various countries, so be weary of any so-called "discount tickets." The offer usually involves a discount price in exchange for watching only a portion of the movie, usually around 15-30 minutes.

     If carefully timed the viewer can watch the movie's climax and be home in time for dinner. In this case something must've gone wrong because our ASEAN Hiver was only allowed to watch the credits. Rumor has it this happens more often than not.

     One of our community members recently watched the 80s classic American movie "The Color Of Money," and this inspired her to become a POOL HUSTLER. She now spends her days living in hotels and traveling with just her cue case and a change of clothes.

     In this modern world of Tik-Tok and other social media dominated culture, can a pool hustler even make a living on the road like in the 1980s? Time will tell, but we certainly wish this lady luck and hope she stays safe out there on the road.
