     I have been in the USA for over a week and have acquired some strange machines. Most of them I have no idea how to use and/or what they are, so I sent them on an overnight air freight flight directly to the VIP Lounge back in Southeast Asia. Now that the items have safely arrived, it's time for you all to come have a look and guess what in the world these things are.

Most of the tourists stay away this time of year because at least by local standards, it is quite cold.

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} Miri is rapidly modernizing. Every year, new buildings go up and sadly some places are left abandoned. Usually, at times, there are some places here in Miri that have gone out of favor. The last time I came here, some shops were open for business, but at this point, many of them have gone out of business. Many new areas have constantly been built leaving many places like this to become outdated.

What I Discovered in My Children's Student Reports!

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} On December 20, my wife and I rushed to the school to collect our children's reports. First, I went to my son's school; he's in primary school. After that, I headed to my daughter's school, where she's in junior school. It was a busy day, but I couldn't wait to see how they were doing and to finally get their progress reports. The parking lot was filled with motorcycles. All the teachers were waiting in their classrooms, ready for the parents to arrive. Some parents stood in line, each lost in thought, wondering how their children were doing.

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} Hello everyone, today I'm taking everyone to experience a very special experience at a coffee shop called Malila, a small shop with a warm atmosphere hidden in nature, next to the road before the three-way intersection into the city. The first step into the shop, I felt like I was in an old wooden house from the past, decorated in a vintage style. The shop is decorated with old wooden furniture and green plants, making me feel very relaxed when I entered.

Trunk 'n Treat!

On November 1, the Primary Organization in our church held a Halloween activity named "Trunk 'n Treat" with a Disney theme. Our two children were part of it and we had our car trunk decorated with treats for the children too. The kids were instructed to wear Disney costumes. And so they did.
