It doesn't feel like years have passed. Feelings also change over time. My appetite has also changed. Including me the most inconsistent for my liking for the food menu. But sweet foods, always have a place in my appetite, although not too sweet.
When I have finished some of the tasks that my co-worker has given me, I look for a snack outlet around the way back home. Finally, I decided to enjoy sweet treats at the outlet that I had never tried before.
I went to “PAKCIK DURIAN” to enjoy dishes made from durian. Dimsum and various noodle dishes are also available for those who don't want to eat sweet food.
PAKCIK DURIAN
The outlet, which is dominated by yellow in its interior design, is named ”PAKCIK DURIAN*”.
Indeed, this brand serves mostly durian-based menus including desserts, ice cream, pancakes. In addition, they also provide snacks such as dimsum.
For a more filling meal, they provide a variety of noodle dishes, including Kwetiau (rice flour noodles).
MY ORDER
I ordered Durian with Jackfruit Desserts. These sweet treats are served with a sweet sauce made from coconut milk. Also served with slices of toasts and sprinkled with grated cheese.
How about the taste? Overall it's delicious, but I don't think it's thick enough because I like the use of thick coconut milk.
The portion of durian and jackfruits is quite satisfying. So there's no harm in trying these desserts, especially if the day is sunny, to refresh the day. :)
FREE ICE CREAM
I'm very happy, it turns out I was lucky today to get a small cup of durian ice cream! That's my favorite.
The ice cream they serve has the right texture and taste on my tongue. The texture is quite soft, with a taste that is not too sweet but the durian taste is quite dominant.
That's enough to lift my mood for the better! Thank you, Durian Ice Creams!

It's a very popular food here in Krabi and I have tried over the years to understand the allure. I guess I just don't have what it takes to enjoy this fruit and when it is offered to me I will almost always pass.

What a cool place! I love the menu and the design/style of this eatery. My three ladies are durian lovers, but I still prefer jackfruit.

Those look really good... I like durian candy and durian "barquiron"... My grandpa from the southern part of the Philippines usually give me those as souvenir whenever he visits... ^^ I suddenly miss eating durian stuff... XD

Malaysia's durian season is just around the corner. When the season comes, there will be a lot of durian based cuisine. 😅 Unfortunately, I have stop easting durian for more than 20 years..
