2025: preparing to sail back to Island city

Its a calm and peaceful sea to sail back to the city. The skies is cooperating, its a beautiful day to travel. The holiday mood is over. Everyone is coming back to school and work.

But first I foraged some pako fern first. This is usually my pasalubong to my friends back to Cebu. The kids was late for the early foraging so I did it myself. It was still six am and they were having fun at the New Years Party at the local Gym that night.

Actually, foraging pako is one of my likes. Maybe because when I was a kid I remember to get those every Saturdays to sell at the market. So the feels of cutting it by hand, the sounds of it reminds me of how simple life is. It teaches me to go back of how I started and reflecting that no matter what and how takes me all this is mind. The experience I have to take it all in. It is not about the getting of pako itself but being there, stepping and looking around where to get it in the grasses was courage. There was kind of trust still it is safe in there. Go on, have the harvest.

I returned at our house after that and readying my bag and myself to go. I kissed my mother and a goodbye to my father once again. See them next time, assuring them I will be back as soon is my budget allows.

Arrived safely, the sea was great its calm. Hoped in another ferry boat to the Island City of LLC after docking. It was a bright but not sunny day at the pier. This was the calmest travel I did because I did not hurry so much ree time to reset myself back to work mode. But before that I had to clean the apartment and the laundry. Am ready for another year.
