En estos días un amigo me pidió que me uniera a él en un emprendimiento. Su emprendimiento se refería a el desarrollo de una academia en línea para emprendedores. Entonces para entender más su propuesta de negocios le pregunté si tenía desarrollado el modelo Canvas de negocio para su negocio (el cual dicho sea de paso era uno de los programas que quiere dictar) y no, no lo tenía. Le pregunté si tenía un plan de negocios y mucho menos lo tenía… ¿será que siempre en casa de herrero cuchillo de palo?

Seguramente más de una vez te has sorprendido tomando atajos a las cosas que sabes que se debería hacer de otra manera. ¿Por qué razón si eres herrero tus cuchillos son de palo?
Yo mismo me he sorprendido más de una vez incurriendo en esto…
¿Será tal vez porque ya le conocemos las vueltas a las cosas? Pero al mejor cazador se le escapa la liebre. Si hay un método para hacer algo, ¿Por qué no respetar el método? ¿Por qué pensamos que ahorrarnos ese pequeño espacio de tiempo que nos lleva la ejecución del procedimiento sería algo provechoso? Aún sabiendo que es aconsejable aplicar el método!… por que nosotros mismos lo aconsejamos!
Para todos la disciplina es una virtud. ¿Entonces por qué no somos disciplinados?
La Disciplina y la Voluntad
La disciplina puede fácilmente marcar la diferencia entre el triunfo y el fracaso para cualquier emprendedor que inicie un emprendimiento. A veces hay procedimientos tediosos que nos molestan y preferimos pasarlos por altos por el apuro actual del ritmo de vida.
Pero si nos detenemos a pensar la razón de la existencia de ese procedimiento, seguramente nos daremos cuenta de por qué es importante y beneficioso. Esto nos puede hacer reflexionar y volver a lo que debimos estar haciendo. Pero aún así, aún sabiendo el beneficio del procedimiento, a veces lo pasamos por alto igual. ¿Por qué es esto y cómo evitarlo?
Un voluntad fuerte te ayudará a ser disciplinado, y creo que todo emprendedor debe tener una voluntad fuerte, de otro modo no podrá sortear las innumerables dificultades que presenta el camino del emprendimiento.
¿Y que pasa si no soy disciplinado?
Yo creo que la disciplina se puede desarrollar. Es un hábito que podemos adquirir si no lo tenemos. Incluyendo pequeñas rutinas en nuestra vida podemos comenzar a volvernos disciplinados. Tender todos los días la cama, lavar siempre los platos después de comer, con pequeñas cosas podemos adquirir un carácter disciplinado y ordenado.
Debemos poder encontrar la manera de poner orden en nuestra mente, de calmar la mente que siempre está acelerada, para que podamos ver…

Al que no ha visto KungFua Panda 1 le invito a verla, aquí conocerán al maestro Oogway, desde el primer momento que ví esta película quedé enganchado por las cosas que decía el maestro Ooway…
Aquí les dejo este artículo que encontré con varios de sus dichos. Para nuestro caso aplican especialmente dos (bueno realmente aplican todos para todos):
“Tu mente es como esta agua, cuando está agitada es difícil ver. Pero si se tranquiliza la respuesta aparece clara.”
“Uno suele hallar su destino en el sendero que toma para evitarlo.”
Debes buscar la forma de calmar esa mente que vive atropellada para poder desarrollar la fuerza de voluntad, el orden y la disciplina. Crear el hábito y actuar de la forma correcta.
La voluntad, el orden y la disciplina han sido mis principales motores y me han llevado por el recorrido de mi vida. Yo te invito a no tener un cuchillo de palo si eres un herrero. Si estás en el camino del emprendimiento abraza la disciplina y mantén fuerte tu fuerza de voluntad, y tu éxito llegará inevitablemente.

Perhaps it is because we already know the shortcuts to things? But the best hunter misses the hare. If there is a method to do something, why not to respect the method? Why do we think that saving ourselves that small space of time that it takes us to carry out the procedure would be beneficial? Even knowing that it is advisable to apply the method! ... because we ourselves advise it!
For everyone, discipline is a virtue. So why aren't we disciplined?
Discipline and Will
Discipline can easily make the difference between success and failure for any entrepreneur starting a venture. Sometimes there are tedious procedures that bother us and we prefer to overlook them because of the current rush of the pace of life.
But if we stop to think about the reason for the existence of such a procedure, we will surely realize why it is important and beneficial. This can make us reflect and return to what we should have been doing. But still, even knowing the benefit of the procedure, sometimes we overlook it anyway. Why is this and how to avoid it?
A strong will will help you to be disciplined, and I believe that every entrepreneur must have a strong will, otherwise he will not be able to overcome the innumerable difficulties presented by the path of entrepreneurship.
And what if I'm not disciplined?
I believe that discipline can be developed. It is a habit that we can acquire if we do not have it. By including small routines in our lives we can begin to become disciplined. Make the bed every day, always wash the dishes after eating, with small things we can acquire a disciplined and orderly character.
We must be able to find a way to bring order to our mind, to calm the mind that is always racing, so that we can see...

Buenos días @ibrahimc, pienso que en la disciplina descansa la constancia y perseverancia.
Cuanta razón tienes con esto de "en casa de herrero cuchillo de palo" y creo que en esto de la disciplina como emprendedores juega mucho el concepto de: ya sé lo que tengo que hacer, no tengo por qué detenerme a realizar esta acción o esa idea generalizada de resolver en el camino.
En todo caso, me parece que somos conscientes de la necesidad de ser disciplinados en la medida en que vamos avanzando y tenemos nuestros objetivos más claros.
Es verdad @ibrahimc pienso que la falta de disciplina (una de las posibles razones)es debido a nuestra cultura, por lo general nosotros los venezolanos nos acostumbramos al farandulero y todo es pendiente de vacaciones, ojo, no digo que las vacaciones sean malas; sino que estamos es más pendiente de fiestas. De alguna manera con todo esto que estamos viviendo en el país creo que estamos aprendiendo a valorar las cosas y que debemos ponernos serios en cada cosa que hacemos, conozco muchos albañiles que son muy buenos en su trabajo pero no tienen una buena casa (casa de herrero cuchillo de palo) y así en cada área, no digo que todos somos así pero si la gran mayoría.
Es tiempo de reflexionar en esto y hacer las correcciones correspondientes, saludos mi estimado. Exitos.
