My garden October update

Hi, my dear Hive Gardners!
I think you will agree with me if I say that gardening never stops. Even in winter, when the garden is covered with a thick layer of snow, and the wind howls outside the window, grains of future flowers are already sprouting in special containers in the warmest and brightest place at home.

But this year I revised the concept of my garden a little. Given that I have a lot of animals, I decided to focus on trees and shrubs. But in addition to the usual deciduous plants, this year my garden has been replenished with a significant number of conifers. I started by buying a few thujas and then I couldn't stop! The conifers conquered me! Given that my house is located in a coniferous forest, I hope that the soil in my garden will be suitable for new residents.

The first photo shows another new tree for my garden - cypress. It conquered me right away, and a healthy and beautiful sapling only strengthened my thought that I had made a good choice.

The photo below shows other kind cypress. I specially took a picture of the names of both plants so that you could read the Latin name. This second cypress may not look very attractive now, but an adult tree looks just magical! It's delicate, as if made of thin lace!

I hope that both plants will be a good addition to my garden.
