What did I plant in the yard?ππ±ββοΈπππΌππΉ
Petunias! The best time to plant petunias is in the spring or early summer, when the danger of frost has passed. Soil temperature should be around 15-18Β°C. This will allow the plants to take root and develop well before the onset of the hot summer period. If you are planting petunias in pots or containers, make sure there is no risk of overnight frost after planting to avoid damaging the plants.ππΈπΌπΉπ·πππͺ΄π±
This Yalitsa Nordman is a great choice for my small yard. It gives a festive and original look to our flower bed and grows up to 25 cm! π²π²π²
Geranium! I use simple steps for planting flowers. It is very important that there is a place for flowers
sunny or slightly shaded. Make sure the site has a good drainage system to prevent standing water.
Soil Preparation: Loosen the soil and add compost or manure to improve fertility. Geranium loves loose, nutritious soil.
Selecting Seedlings or Seeds: You can plant geraniums from seedlings or from seed. Seedlings can be purchased at garden centers.
Planting seedlings: If you are using seedlings, plant plants about 20-30 cm apart.
Seeds: If planting geraniums from seeds, plant them in small holes about 1-1.5 cm deep and make sure the soil around the seeds is well moistened.
Watering: After planting, water the seedlings or seeds well to ensure moisture.
Care: Keep plants moist but avoid standing water. If necessary, thin out the plants to provide enough room for them to grow.
Frost protection: If planting geraniums in early spring, make sure the plants are protected from possible overnight frosts.
By following these simple steps, you can successfully plant geraniums and enjoy their beauty in your garden! π²πΉπ·πΊπͺ·π
