The Kratky Method of Hydroponics has worked wonderfully once again. This Buttercrunch lettuce has given me a lot of delicious salads in the last two months. As you can see it is coming close to the end. I have continually picked the largest leaves as it was growing.
This image is of the root system after 2 months, also no additional water was added to the tub. The water is almost gone and the roots are still looking nice and white. This is a good indication of how well the plants did with the nutrients I added at the beginning of the growing stage.
Cilantro Tower Garden
I have dated the photos that I took since starting the Cilantro, Parsley, and Cauliflower in this tower system. It has done very nicely as well and the cold nights going down into the mid-30s have not bothered the plants at all.
Veggies
Red Acre Cabbage
I am growing Red Cabbage in hanging baskets this year, as well as, in the garden to see the comparison.
Black Beauty Eggplant
The eggplant is doing very well and I am happy with the strong stems which will help them not to stress when I plant them out.
Rosemary
I started the Rosemary from seed way back in February and it is finally getting some height. I am probably going to trim the tops soon so that the plants will branch out. When I run my hand over the plants the entire greenhouse smells delightful.
Sweet Peppers
All 4 varieties of sweet peppers are getting bigger too. I will have to pot some of them up into larger containers since they are outgrowing the 8-packs I started them in.
I only got to one tray of the Red Marconi Peppers potted up this week. Hopefully, I can get to the others in the next couple of days. I do have to have my husband pick up another bale of potting mix first.
Tomatoes
The tomatoes are getting too tall for the seeding tray so it was time to get them cared for.
This photo was taken the next day after up-potting the tomatoes and the cabbages. They did not even stress at all and I know that they will really start to grow fast now.
It is time to take a break and get some lunch. I hope you enjoyed the update on my urban gardening.
Until next time, this is Sunscape

I've tried to grow rosemary in the past and it never did terribly well. I've given up and just buy plants now. Everything looks great!
Thank you so much, actually, this is the first time I have had success with the Rosemary. I did start it very early and kept it in a warm place under lights. I think that is why it did so well.
I've done the same, but with dismal results. There are a few things it seems I just can't grow.
