Out growing the grow room

in HiveGarden2 days ago (edited)

Seems like since I repotted many of these plants they are really waking up and putting on lots of growth. The pots the plants were shipped in were very small and seemed the plants already grew to their full size in them by the time the plants were shipped to me. The marjoram plant has shot off many new stems and we have started cooking with it. But that is not the most vigorous of the plants here.. It would be the Clematis vine.

When I received these vining plants they were dormant, but with the warm room temps and much light they are waking up. And quickly growing bigger than where I had them while dormant. Some other plants are not doing as much such as the rose plants, but the clematis and marjoram seem to be the kings of the grow room.

I would find them the next day touching the grow lights or trying to grow up the shelving. So it was time to move them somewhere else.. I have to keep them inside but there are a few spots that would be fine for that.

We can see they started to wrap around the light cables, so I had to remove them and put them elsewhere. I had to be careful to take them off not to damage the lights or the vines themselves.

Everything but the pine seedlings are doing great. I have new seeds about to be ready to start, so its all good.

Bringing the clematis vines to a sunny window I set up a string for them to climb. I hope they will like their new setup.

They quickly notice it and start climbing up the paracord I attached to the blinds. Its some really thin cord but glad to see they were able to wrap around it without much issue.

Probably wont get as much light as the grow room, but at least they can stretch out and climb up the string.

I hope they will be okay for a few months until its warm enough to plant them outside.

They seem happy with their new spot though, so we shall see how it plays out.

I tied the string to the blinds above, and it seems like it will hold well enough. I guess they will climb all the way up and then drop down as they run out of string.. Not sure how fast that will happen.. probably pretty fast..lol

Already seeing them wrap around the string, that is a good sign. I also see flowers forming, hopefully they open up and do well inside for the moment.

So time will tell how well they do here, but at least they have more space now. Seems the new pot really gave them a boost in growth, so hopefully I can keep up with them until they go outside. Once planted in the ground outdoors they should be able to establish themselves and come back every year.

Good evening my brother.

Wow, vines, they look happy in their new place and growing well by wrapping around the rope, and you are right, time will tell how well they grow next to the window.

And hopefully the plants stay healthy, so you can plant them in the outdoor soil. It's amazing, have a nice day my brother

Nice work ! So in about a month's time, I expect to see a post saying the clematis got to the top of the orange string, then spread across the cords holding the blinds together, and now one wall of the room is entirely green 😁

I love climbing vine plants! Once it's bigger what do you plan to do with it? Is it going to be put outside?

Flowering plants need light, water, and food, with a little love thrown in. I think it will flower for you.

If you had a small spring loaded curtain rod you could put it across the window for the plant to wrap around.

I love how well you take care of your plants. Yes when you bought these, they were more than ready for bigger pots you did them a good service.

The difference is very significant when the marjoram plants before you move to a new place, but the growth is very drastic in the new atmosphere, I think they are more comfortable in the new place to weigh in the old place of my friend.

Of course I also hope that they will be fine and their growth is increasing.

I want to tell you that in the next 3 months, you are going to have to move the Clematis 🪴, but they are very healthy.
I have never been able to have this type of plants in my garden is that I have abundant sun on my roof of the house 🏠 and it is impossible for me to adapt them ala environment.
I hope to see their development in next Posts @solominer. Greetings and excellent weekend bro !!! 😉🙏🏻👌

eh it's very nice when your plants climb to the window, I know it makes a very beautiful everyday view 🥰

This is really a beautiful work, it's nice to see the trees you are observing. I hope your plan will be successful.

The new pot will free them up a lot. They will grow big. It's great that you support them with the rope. It will help them grow and stretch.

When I received these vining plants they were dormant, but with the warm room temps and much light they are waking up

This is good to know so this light is basically good for plants to grow. Technology has come a long way in plantation also

The plants are doing great! The clematis and marjoram seem to be really enjoying your attention. :) Hopefully they will continue to thrive until they are ready to be planted outside!

Great update! It's interesting to see the difference in growth between the Clematis, marjoram, and rose plants. What kind of soil and light conditions are you providing?I'm also curious about the pine seedlings what's preventing them from thriving? Thanks for sharing your experience.

Es un extraño pero un hermoso jardín

Nice and interesting work

Wow, amazing, your plants growing fast, and it climbed. I think they are happy when you repot them. And also they like the place where you put them.

Your plants are really very beautiful indoors I also really like growing plants but I'm outdoors

The growing shoots of marjoram plants should be shortened so that the spicy plant retains its bushy character. This allows you to start harvesting carefully and without problems. In this way, the plant can develop new vigour for young shoots.

Clematis plants will take over given the chance.. ours filled up a entire 4×8 sheet of lattice

It appears that the Clematis Vine is very excited to grow. It knows no boundaries.

The growth of the vines are promising. 😊

I have clematis grow outside. It comes back every year, but the problem is rabbits keep chopping it down. I even used cages to protect it but it solved the problem only partially...

Outstanding very healthy activity dear God bless you
