Milagrosa / Miraculous

in HiveGarden3 years ago (edited)

I show you this variety of orchids, whose real name I do not know, and which I call Miraculous. It was given to me by a friend, to see if it could recover. When it came into my hands it was three quite battered leaves. I tied them to my lemon bush. After a while the orchid grew a new leaf.

My friend traveled to settle in Spain, her father's land, for health reasons, as she suffers from two severe immune diseases. While there, her liver exploded and she spent several months in intensive care, in an induced coma. It was very difficult for her to get out of that trance with good. However, she recovered and the day she was due to leave the hospital, the orchid gave us its first flower.

Now, four years later, it gives us this corsage. This makes me happy, because I think it does it as an announcement of good things that will happen.
