It's the first week of the month and it's lovely to see the monthly garden journal posts coming in. I love a good garden tour, after all. 😁 With @riverflows on the road for the next 6 months, I believe the wrap ups may be sporadic, but I can feature some in the newsletter when they coincide.
I love it when there are lots of interesting gardening and homesteading posts to choose from. My only problem is not knowing where to start. However, I was sure I had to share this one from @devyswan1, because while it's just a simple harvesting post the photos show an amazing dragon fruit plant growing and producing lots of fruit in a situation I've never seen before. It's giving me ideas for my own plants which I've yet to get to fruiting point.
I'll be honest, when I saw the title of @bengy's post I thought he was just going to be complaining about birds, but we actually got a little tour of his garden, partially with a rooftop view.
If I took you on a stroll through my garden it would be an overgrown mass of brown and green and lush wouldn't be a word that sprung to mind. However, when @rem-steem takes us on a tour through mom's lush garden, there is no exaggeration! The colours are indeed lush and vibrant.
I find orchids rather fascinating, although I'm not sure I could ever grow them myself. For the region I live in, they would need to be kept indoors due to being incompatible with the climate here. So I was drawn to @jrobe's on an orchid collection in the garden. How amazing it must be to come across these beautiful flowers as you wander through your garden.

dragon food, super healthy stuff, with veggies and herbs' skyrocketing prices in Australia and every where I does make sense to grow our own if we can
I wish I had more time to devote to the garden. We've had a good potato harvest, at least.

How I've longed for greenery over the winter! Orchids are very easy to grow indoors.
I've seen some that didn't need soil, they got their moisture from the air even though it was very dry indoors.
But we can't grow dragon fruit and I've never tasted it).
I've known a few people who have them indoors, but many times they don't have flowers and they say it's because they've done something wrong.
It's great to see my post is being included and a pleasure to see how others care for their garden. :) :)
