The corner of orchids and other memories

Hello, friends of #Hivegarden!!!

I want to introduce myself to this community by sharing some short images and stories about the orchid specimens that we have in the courtyard of the house, in a place to which we name "the corner of the orchids."

In this space our beautiful plants grow, transmitters of a vibrant and extremely sensitive energy.They talk to us with their presence of elegance, of good energy and invite contemplative meditation on the essence of beautiful and its natural manifestations.
Each has its history and curiosities that are also part of family memory.And our plants are also part of ourselves, they accompany us, our history live ...

Of all these living memories that colors my garden, today I share two short notes on these beautiful specimens.

The Cymbidium of aunt

My aunt emigrated to USA and before his trip he distributed his belongings and treasures.Among them was an admirable piece.It was an orchid plant that over the years reproducing until becoming an immense sphere.We brought it home and so it was until we transplanted it to other supports to multiply beauty in our environment.The mother plant continued to grow and colonized the trunk of an orange tree.He had huge flowers of up to just over 200 flowers.
Below I show you one of the great -grandsons of that original:

Carlos and Teresa

Thus I name these two beautiful plants.Carlos and Teresa were an elderly marriage, he was my professor and tutor of the university.His wife loved the orchids and they gave me those two plants 14 years ago.Both already died, my teacher on December 12, 2012.

Just a year later both plants flourished for the first time.For me it was something extraordinary because it was as if the flowers reminded me of two special beings for me to commemorate my teacher's death anniversary.Since then, in mid -December, Carlos and Teresa receive an extraordinary tribute and, in the corner of the orchids, the memories insist on flourishing light and life.
