Hello everyone!

It's KhaY checking in once more. I missed sharing a blog post in this community, and I'm back now.

Just sit back, read and relax!☺️

How's your day going so far? Remember to keep smiling and let the healing power of God uplift you!

I hope you're all having a wonderful day, hivers. I'm really looking forward to telling you all about my recent experiences, as I'm about to take you on a virtual tour of my Auntie's Guava plantation.

We start by going to the store to purchase some food for our meal.

Once we're done, we make a stop at my aunt's house because we plan to buy some guava fruit. The highlight of the visit is that she allows us to handpick the guavas, which is quite exciting as we get to experience the joy of selecting the ripest ones. Even though I know how to pick guavas, I still find myself unsure of which ones to choose. It's a bit of a dilemma!

As we stepped into their backyard, I was immediately struck by the breathtaking view. The lush greenery surrounded us, and the sight of numerous guava trees was truly mesmerizing.

Planting cassava alongside guava provides a complementary and efficient use of space, as cassava's deep root system helps improve soil structure and fertility.

As we gathered the guavas and placed them in the basket, we utilized the Bagging fruit technique, which involves covering young fruit with plastic bags to protect them from pests, diseases, and environmental damage. This method reduces the need for chemical spraying and safeguards the delicate fruit from birds, insects, and disease, ensuring healthier and more bountiful harvests.

Busy and really enjoying the process of harvesting the guavas. When I look at the guava inside the bag, I can see that it is healthy and quite big.

After picking the ripe guavas, we returned to my aunt's house. They were selling the guavas for only Php 50.00 per kilogram, which is a great price. We buy eight kilos. This will be a significant financial help for them.

After purchasing the guavas, we carefully placed them in the car and made our way home. Once home, I washed the guavas and eagerly bit into one. Its juicy sweetness burst in my mouth, leaving me craving more.

Although some of the guavas have been partially eaten by insects, the majority of the fruit is still in good condition. We can simply cut away the affected parts and enjoy the rest of the fruit.

I've been thinking about planting guava trees in our backyard so that I can eventually harvest and sell the fruits. However, I've been really busy lately and haven't had the time to start the planting process. I'm hoping that in the near future, I'll be able to find the time to plant the guava trees and start this new project.

Hi Hivers, do any of you have a guava plantation? If so, do you also sell the guavas? I'm just curious. Have a fantastic day, Hivers! That's all for now. God bless.

Wow! This is one of the fruits that I missed especially the small ones!

It's quite expensive here and you are so fortunate there is a plantation near your place!

I used to love picking small guavas when I was a kid, even though I didn't always pick ripe ones because I didn't know any better! Haha! 😂

Wow. Your Auntie's guavas look so fresh and inviting. I can bet they taste just as lovely as they look. Thank you for taking us on this fruit-filled journey.🌺

Yes, they are. I bet eating it with salt, haha.🤣

Very nice tour and excellent harvesting work, having knowledge and skill for these things is a great advantage to always have fresh and organic food 😊

I really wanted to have a guava plantation, but with my busy schedule, I realized I wouldn't have enough time to take proper care of them to keep them fresh and healthy.🤣

Is that the same guava you gave me back then? I'm craving for one actually. Can you bring one on your next class? I'll buy it.

Yes nang, you're right, I'll try to go there again so I can bring something for you.

Uy ang sarap! How can you tell if a guava is ripe? Here in my place, there are guavas that are still small, but when you take a bite, they’re already ripe. Dyan sa inyo mukhang iba ang laki ng guava at mas mukhang masarap 🤤

I don't know too but I think when it goes a lighter color haha 😂
Marami din pong varieties ang guava.

Siguro nga sa kulay hahaha. Wag lang sosobra sa pagiging light at baka over ripe naman ang naman ang mangyari 😂
