I believe I have developed a new hobby or side project for myself. My weekends are now spent producing succulents and spreading green cheer rather than going out to parties so it is like building a new creative outlet for myself. Growing can be simple or complex, but if you put in the work, you'll find that things come naturally to you. As everyone knows, taking up a new activity is a terrific way to feel inspired and driven to complete a goal.

I usually find my fingers wandering toward plants because I love them, whether it's by uprooting weeds, taking off dead leaves, arranging pots, or just by touching them. And you know what, I got excited the first time that I knew the ways on how to propagate a succulent because simply you can grow them from their petal/leaf. Your just gonna leave their petal in a dry soil then after a week tiny roots are visible.

Here’s a little tip on how to propagate a succulent plant:

  1. Take a leaf with a nice firm cut off your existing succulent.
  2. Just place them on top of the soil ready to grow...
  3. The leaves will need water at some point but only a light sprinkling...
  4. Wait..... All you have to do now is to wait for the leaves to grow roots or even new leaves.

Best Time to Propagate:

Although they grow fastest in the warmer months of the year, succulents can be multiplied at any time. It is in those seasons that light is most plentiful. Warmth and light are the two most crucial elements for stem and leaf cuttings to root properly.
Stating Facts: The fleshy leaf or stem of a succulent does more than only store water. And the term Succulent comes from a latin word succulentus.
Its rounded shape also reduces the surface area of the structure in comparison to its volume.

I honestly don’t know the names of my plants in my mini garden but I just called them “my babies” lol. Also, I don’t even know how to grow them or how to take care of them, I just keep them in a safe place away from damaging their leaves and roots. Later on, daily routines become easier.

Even just glancing at these kinds of plants inspires me to marvel at the wonders of nature. Their features are somewhat reminiscent of flowers. Because of their sizes, they are adorable and gorgeous. Furthermore, buying various pots is enjoyable because they come in a variety of patterns and hues.

My passion for this plant is unconditional because even during my wedding I opted to have the succulent as my souvenir for my guests. Kodus to my wedding coordinator since even the sight of the succulent plant enclosed in a wooden container that resembles an artificial plant never ceases to astound me.

So yeah! As for general knowledge and personal experience, I can say that gardening has a healing effects in our inner soul. In addition to that, gardening has a therapeutic effect on our inner soul. Stress can be reduced just by gazing at the garden's assortment of greenery. In order to spend time reading or practicing meditation, we may even place some chairs and tables next to those plants.
