The pruning was, in some cases, for maintenance, such as the vine and some garden plants.

In other cases, such as fruit trees, it was necessary since the pests (white mealybug) had attacked them a lot and there was no other way out. Luckily they have recovered well and have already begun to bear the first fruits after having flowered with very little rain.
