Us gardeners are usually a positive lot. We get so many beautiful and inspiring posts here in the garden community that we admire as we know how much hard work goes into it. But it's not all roses, is it? Scroll down to see some ideas for this week's theme.
Some ideas - use these as a springboard for your post!
- What plant have you persevered with, but had to quit as it never grew or bore fruit or flowers? Tell us about this journey.
- Do you ever feel like giving up on gardening altogether? Why/why not?
- When you feel like giving up on everything, how does your garden give you a more positive attitude?
- Do you have any plants that thrive on neglect?
- Is there anything you'd complete given up on, and then found the secret to making it grow and thrive?

Many of my indoor plants simply need to thrive on neglect for their own survival. I don't know how many times I've secretly thought of condemning all my indoor 'prisoners'. The last time the thought occurred, one of my plants seemed to cry out, "LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME!" and flowered for the first time.
I will make a proper post about a different situation though!
