Hello caterpillars and cabbage moths!

It's fantastic to see the proliferation of posts in the Hive Garden after a period of quiet. Of course there is a lot going on in our gardens all over the world. This week @theworldaroundus and @swtzyserrah receive tips for their efforts. Rather than sending rewards for the challenges, we've been tipping the best posts which makes our admin job a lot easier AND gives you a little boost. It reminds us that a garden is rarely independent of the people who tent it.

@theworldaround us wrote this post which is a fantastic reminder about the importance of heirloom seeds. Whilst genetic variations might have their place, especially as plant geneticists think about climate change and disease resistance, heirloom varieties are really important for biodiversity.

The multi talented @angreklestari makes her way into yet another Garden Shed this week with her neat and abundant garden.

I also loved seeing her gorgeous honey apples! I bet she'll have an amazing recipe for us soon with these beautiful fruits.
