my experience is that sometimes when a tree that has a known fungal infection bears much more than expected it's a last ditch effort before expiring. we have lost some cashew trees in that manner and now maybe our night-blooming jasmine may have had it's last bloom. we hope for the best but we'll have to wait and see how it goes. best wishes for the new year
