Hello friends of @HiveGarden, it is a pleasure for me to be able to participate in the “Weekly Thematic Garden Week”, in one of the suggested themes: When you feel like giving up on everything, how does your garden help you adopt a more positive attitude?

My garden and its impact on my well-being.

Venezuelan society is in a state of great turmoil due to its multiple economic, political and social problems, which negatively impacts the mental health of its citizens. This also affects decision-making and the attitude that we as citizens assume due to the diversity of problems.

Stress and anxiety block emotional well-being. However, in the face of this dramatic situation, my garden at home has become a place of therapy for me, where I can relax and focus on important readings that help me reconnect with myself.

Spending time in the natural environment of my garden allows me to meditate and do my breathing exercises that lead me to find more peace and a lot of peace. This then leads me to improve my attitude towards life and relationships with people and to seek better well-being focused on a positive attitude.

My garden and positive attitude.

There is no doubt that when I connect with my garden, its plants transmit life, health and peace to me. Perhaps I may be worried about some situation, which affects my mood and my perception, but, when I come into contact with the nature of my garden, I feel a very special tranquility, especially in the morning hours, when I am more in contact with my garden.

The smell of medicinal plants transmits health to me and relaxes my stress. Touching the plants makes me receive that love that nature transmits and that, from experience in gardening, we know is a pure, transparent and serene love.

When I leave my garden, my pessimistic or negative attitude has changed to a positive, optimistic attitude and a desire to do things with more enthusiasm and love.

When I feel like giving up on something important, my garden helps me reconsider the situation and see things with more hope and a positive and progressive attitude.
