Well, I hope that you have used the last 3 weeks to get a GREAT headstart on your garden this year!!! As far as me? I actually went away and came back to some of my plants worse for the wear (aka... dead, deader, deadest lol) and SOME have sprung up like crazy and are making me VERY happy! My nasturtiums that really tried very hard to hide on me last year are all kinds of wiry little spindly stems! hahahaha
Not sure what will come of them - but don't you worry! I'll be working on getting another harvest this year for summer. It was just TOO MUCH FUN last year!

It was an awesome grovid week, ma'am. I can't still believe I was able to consistently come up with a writing on gardening for three weeks when I do not even own a garden. Gosh, I should applaud myself for this... Hehehehe.
Thanks for always putting out these challenges, it helps me get out of my comfort zones. For instance, I had no idea I could do fictional stories with prompt words until you asked us to have fun in the ink well community last month.
You have always been a motivation to me and to others, of course, but me, mostly, hahaha.

Garden? Where I live, the third weekend in May, the Victoria Day long weekend (because, Canada), that is when people plant their gardens. Even so, many years, there is often a frost, which threatens to ruin everything. People literally put covers over their plants outside when the weather report says a frost is coming.
I used to live in Victoria (we named everything in Canada after Queen Victoria). You can garden there almost year round. It sometimes snows a bit in winter there, but the snow melts almost right away.
Here, the snow comes in early November (or late October). It finally leaves in April after a few pretend meltings in March. However, more than one year, it has snowed on my birthday in late May.
Conclusion: I need to move (in with you! Ha ha ha).
