I am glad to participate in this week's challenge.
The theme states: if you were to invite someone to your garden, who would it be?
If I were ever going to invite someone or people to my home garden, I would invite successful farmers.
The saying goes, "no one is an island of knowledge," and no matter how wise you are, you still need people to help you in many ways.
Although I jealously guard my garden from any intruders, if anyone entered without my permission, they would have me to face. However, my garden is quite too small to accommodate a crowd.
My family and I usually use the garden as a reserve for refreshments during the dry season.
We chat and talk and even sleep under the big mango tree in our garden.
So, if I ever want to invite someone into my garden, I would welcome any successful farmer around me who will discuss my garden with me so that their innovation, perspective, and experience will definitely guide me in having a well-developed garden, too.
