Start a healthy life by planting vegetables in your own garden without chemicals.
I often think, how can we get the best benefits from vegetables and fruits if they are grown with the full support of chemicals? It's really scary how our bodies will be filled with chemicals that shouldn't enter our bodies.
It cannot be denied that earlier people lived longer and were healthier. Also, have a fit body without many complaints of disease. One factor is natural food sources.
Meanwhile these days, business people when it comes to food only care about profit. Uses many chemicals to boost development and speed up the harvest period. The faster the harvest, the farmer can get profits that repeat several times during the year. Unfortunately, this actually has a bad impact on the body.
For these reasons, in the end I started to build an organic garden. Indeed, I admit, it is never easy. Good things always challenge us to take the first step that feels difficult.
I have started implementing this plan since last year. But only limited to spinach plants, and water spinach. To start further, I also have to make my garden have good soil.
My garden, which is about 100 meters wide right next to the house, has ground that is mixed with rocks. So, I added lots of polybags around the garden area. I also made a raising bed to make the planting area higher in the surrounding area, and to avoid flooding if it rains.
I'll show you some progress in my garden. At the beginning of January, last month, my husband and I started arranging the garden. It looks like there are no raising beds there yet.
Then slowly, we cleared the pest grass and made raising beds. Only 3 raising beds.
Meanwhile, at the end of January to the beginning of February, I started planting several different types of plants.
Well, to be honest, I have a big fear that I will fail, because I haven't maximized the soil in my garden by mixing compost or etc. But I have great determination to create my own organic garden that will delight my eyes as soon as I open the window in the morning. So, whatever it is, I dared to start.
Chili plant,
There are chilies, tomatoes, eggplant, celery, chives, water spinach and cucumber. Today, I updated some of the conditions of my plants which made me even more excited. To continue my gardening activities.
For the record, the photos look dark because I took them when it was almost dark after I watered my plants.
These are water spinach plants that is almost 2 weeks old. They look very healthy, green, and grow neatly in the raising bed. 😍❤️
Meanwhile, my cucumber plants are also the same age as the water spinach. Almost two weeks.
I don't use chemical fertilizers, so maybe their development looks a little late but that's not a problem at all.
I also prepared plant supports for my cucumbers from bamboo material. It is recommended to plant plant supports before the cucumber plants get bigger so as not to disturb their roots. If their roots are enlarged and exposed to plant supports, this will cause the plant to become infected with fungi and other things from the injured roots.
Because a few minutes later it will be completely dark, so I made makeshift plant supports and tomorrow I will continue again.
I used bamboo that had been cut lengthwise and sharpened so that it was easier to stick them in the ground.
Well, I planted the cucumber plants directly in the ground. Their leaves look healthy. 😍
To be honest, this is my first time growing cucumbers. I love cucumbers, and I was annoyed when I found out that the cucumbers I bought at the market were filled with chemicals even when they were about to be harvested.
So, I'm really passionate about growing chemical-free plants. The most important thing is that we are patient and don't rush. Because we want health for a better life. We are not after profit.
On the other hand, today my tomato plants are a month old. And I was surprised that today some of my tomato plants are already flowering! I am very happy. What beautiful flowers.
Some tomato plants are still shorter. Just like humans, plants also have their own time to grow. So, no need to worry about it. ❤️😊
Today, I also planted green beans. I have bought a packet of green bean seeds. I will plant green beans in polybags measuring 30x30 cm.
I planted two green beans per polybag. Then, don't forget to water all the polybags!
Beside, I also have taro plants. Bigger plant than before.
I thought their leaves are perfectly beautiful in shape. What do you think about taro plants?
In the other side, my celery plants expand more in the some of polybag.
Also, chives looks fresh and ready to Harvest tommorow.
It's getting dark, and unfortunately I can't share more yet. So, another day, I will update the condition of my garden more often to you guys. See you ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for reading my blog and reblog if you want my blog this time worthy of reading by others.

Wow, you've started a most beautiful project. All you say about chemicals and greed is true. They come up with ideas to make more food faster for more people, but in the end, there are people still starving all over the world while others throw the excess of food in the garbage can.
A year is some time; You must have learned a thing or two by now. I think your organic garden will give you a lot of work but the satisfaction will be double rewarding. Time to start attracting costumers; the good stuff is on its way!
In fact, I have to bought that garden to make my next house is bigger than before. Not cheap. But good Investment because these days so difficult to find empty land 😊
I've learning everyday and my mind feels burn 😅
I totally agree with you not wanting chemicals in your vegetables. I have been thinking of planting some things of my own. Mine will be very small in comparison to yours. I have two good size garden boxes and a small area in my back yard behind a fence. I have at least two months before I can plant yet. I wish you a prosper garden and I know we will see lots of garden recipes 😊
Mine about 100 meters but I have to bought it for bigger area 😊 about $2000. So I need to think seriously to not waste every single space on my garden 😅
Organized garden is never be easy to me 😅 oh my bed. Needed to make some raising bed again or adding more polybags
Oh yes got to make the crops pay for its usage. I'm sure you will succeed and plan well with its space 😊
How great that you have your own land to grow your food, there is nothing healthier than the products of our crops.
How good your plants look, congratulations
Thank you very much for sharing this great progress dear friend @anggreklestari
Home growing product is the best 😊 I Saw you and your family have garden too
You said right... nowadays we consume so much chemicals ...it is good to focus on organic vegetables growing 😀
Growing veggie is fun activity 😊 you should do it even in the small space
I also enjoyed it ..I grew some vegetables and fruits in my garden 😀
Wow what a wonderful project you have got.
What we consume now is chemicals we just need to fiction organic products.
Thank you. We have to learn to produce own veggie in our home 😊
I love the way you organized your garden.
Planting is great. Not only because you have the opportunity to consume the products as organically as possible and the other thing is that it relaxes you to be there in the garden preparing and taking care of each plant.
I hope I can be success. This is first time I planted those plants 😊
I wish you the best of luck. I am sure you will like the process very much.
Thank you 😊
Plants grown with chemicals are not healthy to begin with, that's why a lot of people get different kind of sickness because of the too much intake of chemicals from the food they eat. Nice garden you got, it will motivate others to plant crops without using any chemicals and still get better harvest
Yeah, younger people seems not really fit than older people by now. Food intake is the biggest responsibility for us
Just a brilliant idea, chief. Nothing like growing your own food. In the village, we grow as much as the climate allows. It's great to eat cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, potatoes and many other things naturally.
Yeah, trying to grow veggies that usually eat daily is great.
I am searching a lot about the veggies that suitable on hot season like now 😅
Of course, it is very important to research, but if there is someone around you who does this thing, it would be more logical to ask him/her. Experience is very important in such issues.
Sometimes people hard to tell 😅 better to watch YouTube 😛
Oh yeah you are right about that 😂
Muy bonito trabajo con las plantas.
Thank you
Que maravilloso amiga deseo que todo lo que plantes prospere muchas gracias por compartir 🙏🏽
I am really impressed by how your garden is going! The spinach in particular looks amazing. I am sure you will be making wonderful dishes with your future harvests.
I am still a beginner but I tried my best 😊
