Introduction,
Visiting Children, daughters-in-law, grand children who live in the Yogjakarta area, Central Java, while I live in west Java quite for a way around 500 kilometers or around 11 hours by vehicle.
After being in the city of Yogjakarta, my children invited me to try having lunch out side. They invited me to a restaurant with a rural atmosphere, about 20 minutes from the child's home.
The restaurant is located on Jalan Potorono Piyungan, Bantul Regency,Central Java. The name of the restaurant is Soto Bathok Kangen Ndeso. The owner of the restaurant creatives a rural atmosphere from the shape of building, with typical javanese architecture.
The majority of the material is real Wood, deliberately not polished, the place to eat can be in a HUT or on wooden chairs and table. The are two statues in the form of cowns pulling a cart on display in front of the restaurant.
Inside there are also several childrens play attraction such as mini tris haw , carriege with horses in the form of a status Made of Wood. The food menu is dilevered by the water, the main stay menu is Soto Bathok, another menu is meat balls.
We order 3 bowls of children Soto Bathok, Soto Bathok is a container Made from coconut shells. I choose rice mixed under the vermicelli. Soto consist of beef you choice, then sprinkled with Savoy broth on top.
Another menu ordered was 2 bowls of beef meatball, other foots such as fried Tempeh fried bananas, drinkin hot oranges,plant tea , enjoy Eating in a village atmosphere like back in the old days.
After Eating I took my grand children around the restaurant are,while the son-in-law. Went to the cashier to pay for the food . Went to the cashier to pay for the food the a mount paid is 110.000,-IDR or ,($9).
