Baroida Estate Papua New Guinea Coffee By Tomoro

I am beyond thrilled!

Unless you're getting the beans online, you don't get to taste this variant often in the cafe that I visit. Papua New Guinea coffee is almost unheard of in most coffee shops, as they tend to go with Brazil or Ethiopia as their international selections and variants.

That being said, too, I've been waiting for almost a month to get my hands on this Master Series by Tomoro. Master series is basically an artisan collaboration that offers single-origin espresso variants.

I've tried some of it in the past and found it to be the perfect cup I've had in a while. They offer exotic selections that aren't available in most franchise coffee shops. This is definitely a great chance to taste and explore more variants of coffee, and for Tomoro itself, this is what distinguishes them from their competitors.

In fact, without their Master Series, I wouldn't really be a frequent consumer/buyer since their basic coffee selections are pretty mediocre at best.

About a few weeks ago, the Barista promised that I could find their Master series by the end of the month. I thought they would offer Brazil Santos, which is their signature, and I've tried it.

Guess what? I was pleasantly surprised when they actually featured a variant I've never tried: the coffee from Baroida Estate, Papua New Guinea.

Since I didn't want to drink anything too full-bodied, I ordered a latte because I knew they wouldn't mess it up for me. When I first smelled my latte, I had this strong impression of brown sugar aroma and spiced aftertaste. If my taste buds aren't wrong, there's also a cinnamon taste to it that adds a pleasant touch to the coffee.

Surprisingly, the milk didn't alter much of the coffee profile. It blends so nicely, and the flavors are still highlighted in the coffee. It is really nice to taste something new, and it adds excitement to my life. I would have never ventured into this part of the world, but now, I get to taste what their best arabica would taste like.

The place is also pretty empty today, but typically, people here, as much as they drink coffee at night, would rather stay in the roadside coffee stalls, which are much more vibrant than this spot. Today is also quite unusual for me because I am feeling a little adventurous and want to roam around during the night, as it's calmer and nicer, too.

I would definitely recommend this coffee for those who enjoy a warm cup of coffee with a cinnamon taste and a heavenly brown sugar smell. It's like coziness wrapped neatly in a cup and brings joy to your life.

Maybe in your country you do not find things that are in ours; but it is the same, here it does not exist, or at least I have never heard of this type of coffee that you mention.

In coffee with milk it is common, but as you say, not everyone knows how to prepare it well and it can be damaged in the process. The one you are drinking looks febeome. Greetings

Latte are pretty tricky to make actually because without a proper measurement, it'll taste like milk instead of coffee. I have tried some Latin american coffee but I don't think I've tried one from Venezuela. I hope I can find some in the market or coffee shops so I could try it :)

Not all coffee shops here have that special touch; but there are some where we enjoy a well-balanced café con leche. If you have the opportunity to try one Venezuelan style, I hope you will tell me about your experience.

Coffee from Papua sounds interesting. Do you know where to order it online. Love to give it a try.

I am not sure what works there, I am sure amazon has it. Over here I can find them on Shoppee but that was honestly my first time trying it and I was pleasantly surprised.

Papua - Wamena tastes better, IMO

and I haven't drank tomoro again for months. Somehow the last time I came there, they weren't as good as before.

For me both are on the middle for me. I like it but wouldn't really call either of them great. Tomoro is such a convenience for me now, and I just hope the quality isn’t tossed out the window like last week’s leftovers.

Unfortunately some of their outlets have already done that, I think they have expanded too fast

I love coffee

Me too! 😆

I’m mad to find a nice coffee that’s strong. I have a coffee machine (beans) . What do you recommend? I live in Europe so one I can get my hands on easy. Do you live in Europe?

From what I remember you have terrific coffee machine 😆 maybe try Amazon to find the beans, I am sure they have some over there that are freshly roasted as well.
