Hace un par de días estuve jugando en una mini consola llamada Sup Game Box, me llamó mucho la atención por que desde hace meses atrás fue el gran boom aquí, muchos de los pequeños tenían estas consolas de videojuego y pasaban horas y horas en ellas, la mayoría simplemente jugaba Mario Bros, Pac Man y algunos juegos muy antiguos pero que yo conocía. Decidí usar la de mis primos, quería ver cuales juegos tenia y además escuché que poseía 1000 juegos, y todos eran de la antigua NES 64, además de algunos de una época un poco mas avanzada, sin embargo el funcionamiento de esta consola es muy básico, pero lo que me hizo recordar al ver el repertorio de videojuegos fue "La gloriosa era de los 8 bits".
A couple of days ago I was playing on a mini console called Sup Game Box, it caught my attention because for months ago it was the big boom here, many of the little ones had these video game consoles and spent hours and hours on them, most simply played Mario Bros, Pac Man and some very old games but that I knew. I decided to use my cousins, I wanted to see what games it had and I also heard that it had 1000 games, and they were all from the old NES 64, plus some from a slightly more advanced era, however the operation of this console is very basic, but what made me remember when I saw the repertoire of video games was "The glorious era of the 8 bits".
El funcionamiento de esta consola es muy básico, realmente no es muy compleja ya que simplemente posee una memoria SD con adaptador, en esta memoria posee 400 videojuegos en realidad. El mando es muy similar al del super Nintendo con los característicos botones orientados de la misma manera "X A" "Y B" en forma diagonal, del mismo modo las flechas y los botones de select y start.
Además tiene una batería de 1020mAh, muy pequeña en comparación a otras y de 3.7V, esto es suficiente para jugar un par de horas antes que se descargue por completo.
Tiene para escoger dos idiomas, en ingles y chino, por un costado tiene un controlador de volumen, la ranura donde va la batería es muy practica y de igual manera el conector para colocarlo a cargar.
Básicamente no hay mucho que explicar de ella, sin embargo este diseño tan sencillo y económico fue la causa de su gran popularidad.
The operation of this console is very basic, it is not really very complex since it simply has an SD memory with adapter, in this memory it has 400 video games actually. The controller is very similar to the Super Nintendo with the characteristic buttons oriented in the same way "X A" "Y B" diagonally, likewise the arrows and select and start buttons.
It also has a 1020mAh battery, very small compared to others and 3.7V, this is enough to play a couple of hours before it is completely discharged.
It has two languages to choose from, in English and Chinese, on one side it has a volume controller, the slot where the battery goes is very practical and likewise the connector to place it to charge.
Basically there is not much to explain about it, however this simple and economical design was the cause of its great popularity.
Lo interesante como mencione anteriormente es la gran cantidad de videojuegos de la era de los 8 bits que posee, no estoy seguro pero creo que el 95% de estos videojuegos son de entre los años 80-90's, esto nos lleva inmediatamente a nuestra infancia, además de esto 26 juegos son originalmente de la Nintendo.
Esta era comenzó a partir de los años 80's, con el lanzamiento de las consolas de videojuegos por parte de Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) y la Sega Master System, que si bien sabemos fue el inicio de lo que ahora conocemos como universo Gamer y de Videojuegos.
En un principio confundí esta consola con el Game Boy, así que quizás por eso su éxito, por que genera nostalgia en muchas personas que disfrutaron su infancia con el Game Boy. El costo del Game sup es muy bajo, se pueden encontrar en 10-15$ en las tiendas, y algunas consolas poseen copias de los controles de super Nintendo.
The interesting thing as I mentioned before is the large amount of video games from the 8-bit era that it has, I am not sure but I think that 95% of these games are from the 80-90's, this takes us immediately to our childhood, besides this 26 games are originally from Nintendo.
This era began in the 80's, with the launch of video game consoles by Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and the Sega Master System, which as we know was the beginning of what we now know as Gamer and Video Game universe.
At first I confused this console with the Game Boy, so maybe that's why its success, because it generates nostalgia in many people who enjoyed their childhood with the Game Boy. The cost of the Game sup is very low, they can be found in 10-15$ in stores, and some consoles have copies of the Super Nintendo controls.
Entre los videojuegos que mas me gustaron y que probé instantemente estaba Bomber man, un clásico rotundo de Nintendo y realmente uno de los mas adictivos y entretenidos, sobre todo por que era para jugar en modo solitario, básicamente consistía en colocar bombas y encerrar a los globos con ellas para que al estallar desaparecieran, en cada nivel aparecía otro enemigo distinto.
Among the video games that I liked the most and that I tried instantly was Bomber man, a resounding classic of Nintendo and really one of the most addictive and entertaining, especially because it was to play in solo mode, basically consisted of placing bombs and enclose the balloons with them so that when they burst they disappeared, in each level a different enemy appeared.
Circus Charlie, otro indiscutible videojuego increíble, el solo escuchar la canción de fondo te eriza la piel, el videojuego en si era super sencillo, simplemente debías saltar los obstáculos, cuando éramos pequeños quizás era mas complicado, pero ahora es mucho mas fácil y creo que en pocos minutos complete 4 stages.
Circus Charlie, another undisputed amazing game, just listening to the background song makes your skin crawl, the game itself was super simple, you just had to jump over the obstacles, when we were little maybe it was more complicated, but now it is much easier and I think that in a few minutes I completed 4 stages.
Contra, un videojuego de disparos donde una Elite de soldados es enviada a destruir al enemigo, robots marcianos y estructuras de todo tipo, atravesando obstáculos y saltando de plataformas, el videojuego es muy básico por que posees munición infinita así que simplemente bastaba con oprimir en botón y correr mientras disparas.
Sin embargo recuero que lo jugaba en multijugador con mis amigos, y realmente estaba muy pequeño, así que esto es otra joya de Nintendo.
Contra, a shooting game where an Elite of soldiers is sent to destroy the enemy, Martian robots and structures of all kinds, going through obstacles and jumping from platforms, the game is very basic because you have infinite ammo so you just had to press the button and run while shooting.
However I remember playing it in multiplayer with my friends, and I was really very small, so this is another gem from Nintendo.
Marios Bros es indiscutible y nunca puede faltar, increíblemente todas las nuevas generaciones conocen este videojuego, ya sea la versión de NES como las nuevas versiones de Mario Kart o Super Mario Bros, yo no recuerdo nunca haber podido terminar el videojuego, pero siempre lo intentaba y lo intentaba y aun lo hago, es un ciclo interminable de perder y comenzar de nuevo.
Marios Bros is indisputable and can never be missed, incredibly all the new generations know this video game, either the NES version or the new versions of Mario Kart or Super Mario Bros, I do not remember ever being able to finish the video game, but I always tried and tried and still do, it is an endless cycle of losing and starting again.

Videojuegos que recuerdo con pocas memorias como Bubble Bobble, Kage, Battle City, Balloon fight, Excite Bike, entre otros, pude probarlos en esta consola y sin duda alguna es como volver 30-40 años atrás para ver los videojuegos en su época de inicio.

Road Fighter, Donkey Kong, Pin Ball, Pac Man, Sky Destroyer, Galaxian y otros videojuegos mas conocidos también están en esta consola, y yo realmente no probé los 400, solo vi algunos nombres y los que me parecían conocidos era lo que abría para jugar.
De igual manera, todos de la misma era de los 8 bits, cuando los gráficos no importaban y los videojuegos no tenían una historia de por medio, simplemente el ocio nos mantenía frente a una consola por horas y horas, además de eso el líder indiscutible del mercado era Nintendo, así que la mayoría de los videojuegos de renombre o muy conocidos fueron para esta consola.
Realmente me gustó saber que esa época volvió al presente, y que ahora los niños conocen todas estas entregas que nombré, cuando PlayStation no existía, cuando los gráficos en 3D no nacían aun, y cuando el CD-ROM aun no era una opción y todo era en un cassette. Esto fue una vuelta al pasado repentina y que no esperé hacer, sin embargo esto hizo que quiera comprar un mini NES 64, que al igual que el Game Sup posee una SD con todos los videojuegos clásicos, así que quizás en un par de días la tenga.

In the same way, all from the same 8 bits era, when graphics didn't matter and videogames didn't have a story in between, just leisure kept us in front of a console for hours and hours, besides that the undisputed market leader was Nintendo, so most of the renowned or well known videogames were for this console.
I really liked knowing that that era came back to the present, and that now kids know all these games I mentioned, when PlayStation did not exist, when 3D graphics were not yet born, and when CD-ROM was not yet an option and everything was on a cassette. This was a sudden return to the past and that I did not expect to do, however this made me want to buy a mini NES 64, which like the Game Sup has a SD with all the classic video games, so maybe in a couple of days I will have it.
