Loot Legends is a free roguelite dungeon exploration game with MMO elements, available for web browsers and mobile devices, (currently only available in PRE-ALPHA version for mobile devices and a limited number of players). Continuing to explore this new game in its Alpha version produced by the HYCHAIN team, this time bringing more content about pets in Loot Legends. As mentioned in the previous post, or the introduction to the game that can be read at Checking out the Pre-Release of the Blockchain Game Loot Legends, A Roguelite Dungeon Crawler Game.
There is a vast combination that can be achieved with pets in Loot Legends, among the variety of attack and support monsters. Speaking of support-type monsters, I just received VENDOR, which seems to be a bird in a wheelchair, or a parrot if you prefer, quite a creativity to notice, isn't it? This pet can increase my loot in dungeons with its ability, which allows adding a random item from the dungeon level after every 10 defeated monsters. It's like a bonus for completing a mission or something like that.
My lineup now includes BOMB RAT, VENDOR, RED DRAGON, and MERMAID. Remembering that it's only possible to use two in dungeons, so what to do with the others? Simple, there's a feature I left to explain in this post, but mentioned before. Pet Adventure is an IDLE mode that allows you to loot some monsters which is completed after a certain time. It's also a good way to increase your pet's EXP level, since the amount gained from completing these small missions is higher than trying to acquire some items and use them on your pet.
While the first item has a 100% chance of being obtained after completing Pet Adventure, subsequent items have a reduced percentage chance. This will depend greatly on the monsters used, the enemies, and the adventure difficulty level.
You may have a unique chance per day to encounter the Final Challenge, which contains the best rewards obtainable in Pet Adventure, perhaps the best reward being the fragments you can obtain. Although it has high difficulty and requires three pets with a good amount of EXP and interesting abilities. Each day you can do 10 adventures, considering that this value is reset every 24 hours.
It's interesting how even though the game is focused on dungeons, the developers behind the project still think about contributing IDLE methods in its gameplay for more casual players. This is even more evident with the HOME option, which I will share its functionalities in the next post.
