Hello Gamers, how are you? I hope you are all doing well. Well, as you know, I have decided to be very active with games this year and without a doubt, of all the games I download, I am sure that I will only talk about first impressions and will not continue playing. Something that has surely happened to you many times. So, well, this time Delta Force is no exception.
I was playing Delta Force for a few hours and well, here are my first impressions and why the title of the article. Being a game set and characterized by realism, I can say that it has many mechanics that can, in my opinion, become tedious throughout the games and the same time of play. Having to constantly heal yourself, bleeding, fractures, etc., can become a pain in the neck when enjoying the action. Although the realistic simulation dynamics are very good, it makes the game become very niche, because of this type of things.
Just like everything else, I think it's fine. There are many people who enjoy this type of realistic dynamic, but it's not my thing at all.
In this same sense, the gameplay is extremely slow, that is, the dynamics of the development of the battles are very slow, there is a lot of waiting for the confrontations, while they try to do a kind of exploration with more objectives, the search within the world makes them even slower. This seemed very tedious to me since I'm used to games as fast as Apex or The Finals.
Despite the incredible graphic finish of Delta Force, it is without lying to me a game that I will not continue playing since I cannot get caught or hooked by its gameplay. If you dare to try it, tell me what you think, without further ado, see you in a next post.
That game mode tries to be like Escape From Tarkov, extraction shooters are slow as fuck and honestly they aren't my kind of shooter either, I don't like Apex tho, I'm more a Doom and Fortnite girl, but that's just our preferences haha.
What is worth mentioning and I see you didn't is that you only played one mode, the game does have another main mode [which name I don't remember right now] where it becomes a Battlefield-like shooter, with a huge map and lots of players everywhere, on team has to attack while the other tries to protect the zone, I played this one with my friends because, honestly, I don't like the Tarkov-like mode that much, and it's really fun, maybe that one is more suitable for you!
Yes, it's always a matter of taste. And even though I tried the other game modes, it didn't even remind me of Battlefield or Battlefront, and I'm a HUGE FAN of that series (both) and if in the "Battlefront" style game mode you expect to get something like Helldrivers or Star Wars Battlefront 2, it's extremely far from being anything like that.
Are you currently playing Delta Force? Maybe if I play it with people the experience will be different?
Thank you very much for your comments and support!
Warfare (the game mode of Delta Force I mean) is literally a Battlefield, you have huge maps, 32vs32 players, and you can use vehicles, like, you know, on Battlefield or similar games. Why do you mention Battlefront/Helldivers tho? those are two way different type of games and way far from Battlefield and Delta Force, maybe Battlefront does have a similiar big teams structure but that's it imo.
I haven't played recently but yeah, I spent a lot of hours playing with friends, I played by myself too but not that much, I've been stuck with Yakuza for months, but you know, eveything is better with friends.
Well let's see if I download it again to give it another chance and explore more of that game mode. Do you play on steam? It would be nice to add us and share some matches from time to time! I'm Venap Games on steam.
Hey, I really don't want that to happen to me, last year I was stuck in those endless gameplays of playing every 2 months and finishing a 30 hour game in 4 months, it happened to me with The Fallen Order and A Plage Tale, this year I want to download, finish and move on to the next one and if I download and I don't like uninstalling, then I end up with 40 games without playing any of them, what else to download xD
Is this game really as slow as you are saying? Looking at the graphics, it doesn't seem so.Maybe this could happen,as i did not played it so i can't say anything about this game.. I would suggest you to play some more levels of this game, many games are a bit slow in the beginning but then the later stages become very exciting and one feels like playing these games again and again.
I've been playing and I'm not really excited to continue or try to advance to higher levels. The bleeding dynamics become tedious, and the development of the missions in my opinion do not present an attractive development dynamic, but rather a disorganized one. The graphics really do not compensate for the way the game is, I have found games that have an attractive section and fall into mere appearance, however this is not the case of Delta Force, and hey, it's not a bad game, it has a solid player base apparently, it's just that it's not my type of game, and it's the feeling that I get when playing it that I describe. And it's not what I expected from the game, and not in a bad way, but I'm used to other types of dynamics in shooting games that I find more attractive. Thank you very much for commenting.
okay. It seems like you have studied this game in a lot of detail. This is a good thing because it helps other users to know more about the game and saves a lot of their time.
Thanks 🙏
Is this game a PC game or a mobile game? This game looks very interesting. As it is a shooting game I think the game will be a lot of fun to play...
It's a PC game! It's not a bad game, it's just not my type of game or the dynamics I like, in the trailers and such it looked pretty fast, but it's really slow for me. Thanks for the comment!
