This is one I wanted to play but I didn't want to pay full price for. I could have sworn this was on SNES too but that must be a different game. I know back in the day most licensed games like this never went on sale at Electronics Boutique like original titles did - no idea why. This one was $49.95 till it was gone one day.
It looked good, magazines mentioned it was a fun romp but I just could not part with that much money at that time (I was never a big fan of the cartoon it was based on either).
Edit to add, I was also in the camp of the two characters being so similar that I thought they were the same. I just assumed they were in different dimensions or something.
Damn, 49.95 at the time was quite a lot, even today it is quite a lot of money.
Yeah, that is about $100 today. Games were anything but cheap back then. I was working a job paying about $6 or $7 an hour back then (around $13 today).
