If you enjoy turn based strategy games but don't care to get all into the details of weapons and such, rather just have fun, this series is great.

It gets tough later in the game though but not impossible. You get a sense of accomplishment when beating later levels because of the increased challenge.

Nintendo has this stuff down to a science.
