The first king of shooters has been for more than 20 years in the memory of all those who have entered an Internet cafe or have played LAN games, Counter-Strike would arrive with a sweeping step from the hand of Valve in which it was first a modification of Half-Life made by themselves and then begin to stand out and be their own thing, many versions of this game have seen the light with slight modifications but when Global Offensive came if you felt that there was a before and after, this new version of the classic greatly improved the graphics as well as integrated other game modes to its arsenal, plus it also natively included the online that we all love today, this new version also skips all the complexities of the first titles and greatly reduces what we can do, everything is reduced to a duel to the death, kill or be killed and there are not too many distractions in between so it is perfect for those who are just entering the world of FPS.
Global Offensive is the refinement of what Source was trying to do at the time, make an addictive but simple game where everyone can settle in and grab the controls within minutes to start winning games, it's simplicity that combines with how sharp our reflexes are to give us one of the purest experiences on the market, The best thing is that all the essence of the original is still as valid as ever with many combinations of weapons that we can perform as well as from the first moment we feel at home, a combination that together with the extreme simplicity that proposes the game for new players results in an extremely competitive and addictive title on both sides.
The matter is about the same, two teams one of terrorists with the goal of planting a bomb and another of counter-terrorists who must defuse it, both sides also try to kill each other so there are different ways to approach each game, the feeling that there are no upgrades in our weapons makes more necessary our skill and strategy to take by surprise the enemy and eliminate them, there are also other game modes but everything is reduced to this classic squad deadmatch where our reflexes are everything when we are in front of the adversary.
Global Offensive works as a return to the base of the internet shooter where the improvements of weapons or the ranks that we advance do not serve much and we focus on what we can do at the time throughout the game, yes, we can still buy weapons and go improving our team but it will be based on what we do in the game and once this ends we will have to start again, Just like the classic mouse and keyboard shooters, we will have a menu where we can see our progress in the form of achievements but none of that is reflected with the other players, it works more like a personal trophy room where the real goal is to improve yourself and the way you play.
Indeed Global Offensive has some interesting game modes while redesigning other classics from the base game, the Demolition mode in which we will have to put bombs through a building while taking out counter terrorists takes some unique twists and has settings that propose exciting new ways to play it, the other modes start from the same premise that we will have to capture the flag or ultimately wipe out the opposing team, it is very direct action and not too complicated in a game that wants to attract the new audience while keeping the legacy of the base game intact, you can not ask for more from Valve, perhaps surprisingly, it is not a game that is not as easy to play.

Thank you very much for reading this.
I'm glad to see some csgo, for me its for sure the KING of FPS games.
I find it incredible that 20 years later it is still the most sought after by players, even the 1.6 version.
The best way to improve my technique and skills in this game was live matches. It's very cool to watch professionals in this and learn from them. CSGO live scores have become an indispensable source for me. I'm always aware of the main matches and their results.
