Off to see the Pokemon Collector Bill after all these battles
This is a play through of Pokemon Blue by using RetroArch to emulate the game. I am randomising the Pokemon in areas with similar strength so it isn't completely randomised, while choosing three starters of similar types
Hiker was one of the first battles to get through and his Squirtle packed a punch. Among the water gun and bubble it brought Grimer down quite a chunk already before it was able to finish off the Squirtle. Another water type was up second which was a Poliwag, would have been doing more damage if it wasn't for Venonat being a bug type and taking some less damage.
The Youngster that was faced off against next had nothing special really.. a Zubat which had finished off Grimer but then Venonat defeated it, plus the following Ditto.
Healing was done to bring all his Pokemon fighting fit once more, Grimer took a beating in this next battle first up, Venonat could have had a hard time against the next Hiker's Pidgeotto, but it could do enough damage to ensure a victory among the quick attacks being used!
Another couple of battles before healing would take place, so then the last few trainers could be defeated after the healing.
It was a Lass first up with a Ditto and Ekans. Ditto transformed into Shellder but Dratini was brought out due to Goliath's Shellder being a lower level, which means this fight was about to turn in his favour thanks to Dratini's speed and wrap ability.
The Ekans was a bit more of a nuisance for Dratini to face as it had a slight bit more speed, which means Ekans could get wrap off easier and also poison Dratini.. it was looking a bit grim for Dratini this time but thanks to healing the poison with an antidote and it's stronger wrapping ability, the Ekans was defeated and it was off to the Poke Centre to heal up.
Among the last few trainers before seeing Bill in his house, a Hiker was mentioning how he was also off to see a Pokemon Collector and this would be a tougher battle and this is all because of the first Pokemon that gets sent out.
Cubone was the first Pokemon to be faced off against in this trainer battle and its Bone Club, well it was super effective against Grimer first off but then the Venonat brought out got hit by it, also being super effective against it!
But the strength on Venonat meant it took a lot less damage than Grimer did and it could successfully win against Cubone. This win got it to level twenty which was well earned and then the Nidoran Male got brought out to face off against Dratini who had no issues, an Oddish was sent out last and the Grimer was able to overcome it to ensure a victory was gained instead of letting the Hiker win.
After defeating another trainer who has a Zubat and Charmander in which the Charmander is a cool Pokemon to have with you. Another trainer had a Venonat which is still increasingly popular right now but also a Mankey.
Finally the last trainer before Bill's house.. there is a Pidgeotto, Male Nidoran and a Horsea which Grimer was able to defeat the first two pretty easily because of their level being lower, it almost fainted though so for against Horsea, Dratini came out to finish this battle and take a victory walk up to bills house!
Goliath walked up to Bill's house and went inside to see him. He had currently turned himself into a Pokemon through an experimented being conducted and required help to get out of this state.. so Goliath helped him out.
Once completed they had a chat and Bill mentioned about a party on the S.S. Anne cruise ship he had no intention of attending, before passing the ticket to Goliath.
With this visit completed and his Pokemon a lot stronger now, Goliath was heading back to heal at the Poke Centre before having another shot at beating Misty, in the Cerulean Gym for his second badge.

Saving: (Used for quick loading and for getting back to before I had all Pokemon faint, if I lose and so it is quicker.)
