Well Hello There Fellow Gamers And Hivers!
In the last episode of Days Gone I made my way to the Horse Creek Ambush Camp to clear it out once and for all, the attacks got too much to handle and I feared they might only grow worse. So we dealt with it accordingly. Clearing out the camp was a hard battle, harder than I at first thought it would be, I ran out of bullets a few times but I managed to stay alive and figure things out on the spot.
Kind of surprised myself that I survived it since the game is set to HARD.
After that I headed down to the Hot Springs Survivor Camp to meet up with Tucker to hand in a few bounty's and get some new quests.
The Conflict With Alkai
After speaking with Tucker where me and Alkai almost exchanged fists with each other, I have to clarify that I have absolutely no idea what I did to the poor soul but he has some sort of vendetta against me.
Well Shite.
The problem now is I had to stock up on ammunition and well Alkai was the man to go to at Hot Springs Survivor Camp. I had no choice but to face him.
He ranted on about two guys driving around on bikes killing his men, well shit that might have been me and Boozer but the oak we gutted was looking for trouble in the wrong places. Of-course I didn't admit to anything since it could have been anyone, there's still lots of oaks driving around on their bikes.
After stocking up on bullets and doing some well needed repairs on the motorcycle I was left with some hard choices.
Remember way back when the NERO helicopter showed up at the grave yard where I found the stash that Leon hid, well I now had a choice. I could hand the stash over to Tucker and gain access to weapons that Alkai sold that were of course much better than those I had or I could hand them over to Copeland and have Manny restore my motorcycle to its former glory.
Now I know weapons are important but I was planning on heading North with Boozer and for that I needed a proper motorcycle, so I think the choice is obvious... I decided to head on over to Copeland's Camp.
The Danger On The Roads
There I was heading to Copeland's Camp as the night drew closer and closer, what a time to drive on the roads hey.
Well as I was driving I heard someone shouting for help beside the road, I stopped to investigate because I ain't no heartless bastard. I found someone trapped inside a car with some freakers banging and bashing to break into it.
Before I could even get off the motorcycle properly one of the freakers rushed down on me.
Once again I was caught in a die or try situation and I was certainly not about to die beside the road like a stray dog, somehow I managed to pull out the knife and jab the sucker in the head!
If I pulled it a moment later I would have been a freaker myself for sure!
After the whole incident I had a choice, the survivor needed a home... a place to go to so I gave him the option of sending him to Copeland's Camp.
I sure as hell hope he makes it since there is a small reward in it for me as well, given if he remembers to mention that old Deeks sent him!
The freakers I caught next to the road was the least of my problems. This time I was caught off guard and unaware of what I was getting myself into.
As I continued down the road to Copeland's Camp I came down on drifters camping out at a NERO checkpoint. The problem here was that once I got myself into something I absolutely had to carry through with it, unless there is no option left but to run away like a cowering dog.
I went on and pushed harder and harder clearing the filth out one bullet at a time!
They were plenty and everytime I thought okay I've done it now, more comes peering out of nowhere!
Laughs and after all the chaos of the drifters I poured some fuel into the generator and started that baby up and whelp I managed to grab some stuff out of the NERO station. I somewhat forgot that these stations have loud sirens that start to scream when those generators starts powering up the facility.
Yes that is where I high tailed it the hell out of there like a cowardly dog, I was not about to show some manly strength against these freakers with just a baseball bat.
Hell nah, I shall return later.
Back To Copeland
It's been a long, long time since I saw a man with such a smile on his weary face. Copeland could not in a million years have been more happy than he has been when I brought him the stash of drugs that Leon hid away.
A word once given must be kept and I am very glad that Copeland kept his!
I was to head of and speak with Manny about the repairs on my motorcycle.
After arranging some parts and modifications from Manny at Copeland's Camp I went back to Hot Springs Survivor Camp where I met up with Tucker again to discuss the details of the next job.
And from what I've heard this is going to be an action packed little brutality show, gotta hunt down some fucker who beat a man and woman to death. I heard he has a hideout somewhere in the mountains. Whelp I hope the bastard is ready for what is to come.
I love beating these savages to death and for this one I have something special tucked away!
