Any questions you have about the game I'm available to answer in the comments so I'll see you around.
I was amazed at how much fun this little game is.
according to what i had read it only lasts a couple of hours, but it's hell of fun while it lasts, every area full of enemies is a dance hall where we can have style spilling blood
also the story is good, at least it tries to be something more than just another part of the game and yes there are lines of dialogue that are appreciated, and if we count that most of the people who play this come for the nostalgia they are going to find something to match, something dark and nuanced.
A few days ago I stopped playing in one of the missions that vary a bit the dynamics of the game, in other areas we were all the time finishing with goons and the typical mafia recruits but in this particular level, I'm talking about the club level, you have to spend a whole first part in stealth,
camouflaging ourselves with the people at the party.
It is a section that introduces us to the stealth and the vision points of the enemies, I suppose that in dark or blurred areas they don't have the field of vision that if they have in the closed rooms but this is only an introduction to introduce us the stealth in other levels later on.
This level in retrospect is simple, there is nothing too complicated except for the automatic turrets that show up and are capable of taking you out if they catch you off guard, we can only deflect so many bullets so we'll probably end up restarting.
There are also some other items like smoke bombs that can camouflage our presence again and so avoid big piles of enemies and finish them off more easily, we always have the Dragon power where we slow down time if something goes wrong but I would like to use it as little as possible at the moment.
I feel like the story is already getting into more slippery territory, we are starting to notice more people using the drugs we have, we are motivated to ask questions until we get a call from the agency and they forbid us to ask them, here is an excellent detail where we can ignore them and ask our target how they get the drugs and we can even let them go.
I don't know how far I got with this decision but I decided that for this first game I was going to do everything to the letter, this means that if we don't talk to our target too much the agency will notice and reward us for our loyalty,
the next day's dialogues seem to be different as well, as this time I was greeted with praise.
in each of these sessions we can have a little extra context about the story or just take our meds and get out of there,
as the game allows you to role play I decided to be an uneasy patient who just wants his medicine to get home as quickly as possible, I have done this with most of the sessions.
I know I'm depriving myself of context by doing this but I have a feeling I'll be playing this game a couple of times after I complete it for the first time.
Each level is a lot of fun on its own, the dialogue and back story I consider a bonus that I appreciate and will be looking at more in depth in a second playthrough.
For now I'll be getting as much out of these levels as possible, right now I'm in a prison where apparently they finished our objective before us, a bit strange but it's a point that I feel will pay off a bit later on.
