I don't want to depress anyone with this top, I just had no ideas what to write about.
Although if you think about it there are a lot of amazing games that you probably missed, either because it didn't come out on the console you had at the time or your pc master race didn't have the power to run even the minimum requirements, I have several games that are pending in that list so I'll do the same with this post.
Later I will have more interesting topics to share, I promise :)
GTA IV
Maybe you don't know, that behind this screen I have never been too much a fan of GTA games, I always saw them from a distance, of course I played some of them like San Andreas and Vice City but the more current ones like IV and especially V never called my attention too much.
The difference is that I already played the V, a bit of mixed feelings with the gameplay and missions but I think it's passable, although there is also the GTA IV that I have never played.
I have had a few opportunities to play it but I have always found games that require time to explore all the map that has prepared for us, it is a task that requires commitment and I think that although it is a top title I have not even downloaded it to play it.
None of The Witcher
I've only seen the series lol
This one is a bit more tricky, because yes I like everything that can encompass The Witcher games but I have a bit of resistance towards titles that are set in the middle ages or similar to it, it's something that already goes to the personal range of why I haven't played their titles, there's also the issue of price and the few times I've seen these titles on discount I usually think I could play them another time.
The Witcher has had several changes throughout their games, I would say that each one has a different genre that is perfecting and building on the previous ones, I got to be close to the second installment but it did not attract me too much and I guess at that time I had other preferences.
Half-Life 2
Everything that involves Half Life is a shrine for gamers, it seems to be a title that gamers are born with, but I think this will be the most justifiable of this list.
When the second part came out I think I was still in elementary school, of course I was playing video games but I was more in the stages where you played Mario Kart and Yoshi Island instead of these titles, it started to catch my attention a little later but I think the graphical jump at that time made me not to try the game during all this time.
None of the DOOM
This is the part of the post where they write furious in the comments.
How the hell in all this time I have not been able to take a second to play the mythical Doom? I'm quite a fan of shooters and doom is the closest thing to being the father of this genre.
The reason is that since the arrival of doom there have been many releases, some with problems and not very well received, ignore a lot of time all the remakes that were made to the original formula.
That was until modern Doom started to come out, Eternal is among my most coveted titles, it's on Game Pass and I've played it several times trying to find out if it would run on my pc, someday I'll play the originals.
Red Dead Redemption 2
This is a bit more recent
The reason is simple, I don't have the console, and my pc can't run it, although I always hallucinate with people playing it, I think this has the same energy as gta but there is something in these games that has always impressed me.
I don't know if it's the story or that I love cowboys and old west stories, I've even seen several reviews and I can't help but be amazed at how Rockstar managed to get these games out with that quality that you can unveil just by walking around the open world.
Elden Ring and none of Dark Souls
We ended up with one of the good ones
although I think I'll play these sooner rather than later, Elden Ring looks pretty good and Souls has recently grown on me, so maybe when I upgrade the pc I'll buy some elden ring or some of the dark souls, they've always seemed to me like one of those games that don't bother to explain anything, something that for me can be frustrating but I'm prone to accept that challenge.
I think it's more than obvious that I've left some out of this list, Mass Effect is also a series of games that I haven't been able to play yet, as well as one of my personal additions, Squadrons is also another one that I aspire to play in the future.
You have some work to do my friend.
No doubt about that! and I've just now added Hogwarts Legacy and The Wolf Among Us to the list as well!

Yes, Doom is the father of the modern FPS and I guess you could think of Wolfenstein 3D as the Grandfather. It wasn't so much the single player story line that attracted me to Doom (and Doom II) but the multiplayer death match. I still find its simplicity and repeatability attractive.
I played some doom in Flash when those pages were all the rage but I've never played the original file that is so much talked about
I thought I was the only one who didn't play these big games. I played the Witcher, Half Life 2 and one of the old doom games but not the others. We have to start playing these games soon or they might ban us from the gaming community.
I'll be starting HL2 next week when I finish my classes, but I find it amazing the games that most people feel are masterpieces and I still haven't even thought of playing them
I have got to play the new Doom and Doom Eternal in different times when trying the games at someone else's house as they had rigs that could run the games (but just in those days, not extensively enough to completion for obvious reasons), while the closest I've done to playing HL2 is messing around with Garry's Mod and having played Portal 1 to completion (I did start playing Portal 2 months ago but haven't got around to that again). I did try Dark Souls 2 once or twice but definitely not enough to say that I could be sure to say "I have played DS", and everything else mentioned here I haven't ever got my hands on again.
...You know, one day you might get good chances to at least try those, let alone play them enough from start to end. But at least there's likely something else to try out with older games or anything that you can run on your PC; its just a matter to find what to try :)
